Bullet Raja First Day Business

Bullet Raja could not make much impact on day one as it grossed around 6.50 crore nett. The film had fair collections in UP and Rajasthan but could not do much elsewhere. Mumbai circuit was dull with collections just a little higher than Delhi/UP when normally it should be 50% higher.

The film did not perform at multiplexes as the collections were not upto the mark for its release, single screens were also below par apart from some cities in UP and Rajasthan.

The film will find it tough going over the weekend and with normal trending weekend trending it may just go a little over 20 crore nett. To have a respectable weekend figure the film needs good growth on Saturday and Sunday.

just got back watching this one, the movie is not that bad. must say first half if brilliant. but its nawab who again seemed like spent too much time in front of the mirror AGAIN.

patchy work he has done. one min he is brilliant, next a haggard jhandu appears on screen such inconsistency. lost in thoughts: am i looking hot enough.

i bet my ass the director had to shout "cut" each and every min, so nawab would run and rub some garam oil on his bared chest..and underpaid spot boy holding the mirror for him.

"mirror mirror on the wall, kya mujhe meh garmi hai"

koi garmi nahi...sabh thanda ho gaya, your bullet bomb hogyaa...stop this nautanki you both miya biwi, and retire.

same thing he did with w#f av...i pitty sriram and now tigmanshu, sriram gave him solid ek thi hasina, then he turns around and spoils w#f av for him. this is what happens when you take a wannabe self made stars. i remember kareena was falling during dil ek muft and this langoor was was beautifying himself in front of a mirror...hell if you really want to take big stars for such movies like bullet raja take bhai.

bet my money...remove saif and put bhai, this movie with even lame second half would have rocked the boxoffice.

i hope the outcome of this movie doesn't discourage tigmanshu, i want to see more movie from him just got for irfan and nawazuddin shahs, ...

well now shahid beta the ball is in ur court now. koi gabadh matt karna..or else your dhulai is going to be epic.i am suffocating with all this promotions..abb bass..

why don't these stars accept that they don't have enough star power and do something different? I mean saif sounds smart but did he seriously think he could have pulled in the crowd by doing something like this?

But that's not fair... they can't stop doing something different just because the audience doesn't like them that way. That's boring for them and for the audience. But they should keep the budget in check for such films and definitely make good trailers. BR trailers were rather bad. It didn't even look like a Dhulia film. 😕

that's what we want!

but I wont really call BR a different attempt- that's playing it safe with a tried and tested BW formula

saif is worth so much more

here is something different he can do.

why don't he start producing some small budget movies, with raw cast, get some new script writers, give some meaning ful movies.

saif talks big right? oh bollywood movies not good compared to hollywood movies..blah blah

I feel he has a fair share in contributing to something good and different

omkara, DCH and his dark comedy "being cyrus"

saif has a lot of talent but unfortunately he is being a victim to what most stars do- try the tried and tested!

never thought saif would do something like this- that's so not him!

Don't you have any doubts about Shahid. He is going to get a hit with R... Rajkumar.

Reasons:

Music is a big hit
Fresh pairing which looks interesting and unconventional
Crowd pulling trailers
And finally, it has no big release for two weeks. So it can expect 14 days of clean run.

It's guaranteed to get a way better opening than GTPM or BR. Rest would depend on the content/WOM

I don't see any freshness for it

somehow sonakshi looks bleh

she has lost her freshness- doing the same flowerpot roles over and over again

her movies have started looking the same- its like this week saif had a Barbie doll to romance, the next shahid will and she even looks the same in all her movies

what is she thinking!
