This is a point and I think it's because he was really touched when Antu tied that rakhi on him even though they both knew it was instigated by Raghu...but I think it created a bond between them and also he saw Antu's pain and grief that night so probably knows what she did was insane but she was totally out of it.

Yes i agree she was out of it but sometimes some mistakes can take quite a while to be rectified and i know people might bash me for saying this but it was important for this marriage to happen otherwise DM's real face won't come in front of Antara and neither will she realise and find out about Raghu's innocence and of course the most important Rantara scenes 😳😳😆
