😉😲 Wow, last night was an awesome experience. Ram Leela was the first time I saw a Bollywood movie in quite sometime. I look my American friend with me. He loved the movie, don't get me wrong. I told him it was a copy of Romeo and Juliet, SLB copied the Leonardo DiCaprio/Claire Danes movie! 🤔 But, that can be overlooked. My friend and I thought the movie was way to long. 😆 The songs were gorgeous. Peecee was wasted, no impact whatsoever. Ranveer looked hot, amazing, and acted with passion. ☺️ I am impressed! He got me hooked. My friend said he has potential. Now, Deepika was interesting. My friend loves Vidya and Bebo the best. I asked him, "Is Deepika in the league of these other actresses you saw?" 😉 And he said no!!! 😭 He just said Deepika was "okay" and good in some scenes toward the end. I cannot change his opinion. He asked me when Vidya is coming back! 😆 I told him she has a 2014 bonanza! Deepika for me was good, but not as memorable as Aish's Paro or Nandini. Surely this is her year, but SLB could have done better with her. The ending was appropriate! Ram and Leela are supposed to die. Overall, good movie. SLB got a hit, happy for him. 👏 This is not his best work though, Devdas and HDDCS are far superior. Please let me know if my take on this movie was good. Or if my friend and I are completely pagal! 🤣

You are right.
I like Deepika, but I am not delusional to think she is anywhere near Kareena or Vidya or Priyanka in terms of acting. She is average at best.

So, you liked Ranveer? Interesting. 😆

Also, her improvement is noticeable in every film she does. But yes, she has a long way to go. 😊

😡 Kya?! You don't trust me. The proof is that Americans don't like copies of Hollywood films. He doesn't think Deepika is in the league of Vidya and Bebo. Isn't that enough for you?! 😉

Yes, Ranveer was quite good. He is getting better with his movie choices.
Thank you for agreeing with me. 🤗 The movie was to long!
I was really tired after watching it. SLB movies are a headache. I need
to drink a lot of coffee to survive! 😆😆 Deepika is good and the #1 heroine
of the year, but her acting still has a long way to go! 😉

So what? .
Another american says this on Roger Ebert

What makes the ride as enjoyable as it is, and what truly give focus to Bhansali's lush, colorful compositions, are the performances of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the leads. Singh prevails over a very odd (even by masala hero standards) mustache to give a deeply affecting and rich performance as Ram, but it's Padukone, as is increasingly the case, who steals the show with pure, deliberate, ferocious star power. The striking thing about her performance as Leela is how tightly coiled and tense it seems; she's ready at a moment's notice to kiss or kill (or both), never passive, never merely a photographic subject. The physical vitality of her work in the film is almost unfair to Priyanka Chopra, who cameos in an item number. Quite the movie star in her own right, Chopra seems insubstantial compared to Padukone, who's very close"if she isn't there already"to becoming the star among stars in her generation. Her every gesture is fascinating. She forces Singh to dial up his own not inconsequential star power in the scenes they share, which leads to a situation where we get to watch two wildly attractive actors giving their absolute all and meshing terrifically from a chemistry standpoint. If that sounds like fun, it most certainly is.

I agree with the stuff on Priyanka and Ranveer! Deepika is not "coiled and tense." I don't agree with that. In fact, she was stiff in some scenes. 😉

as compared to vidya and bebo, deepika has a long way to go!!
she still has to carry a film on her shoulders

so the answer that she is ''okay'' perfectly fits in!
