Have you ever seen the way a psychotic person behaves with his doll? He admires her, then rips her apart, after which he feels pity for her. Once he is done doing that, he laughs to his heart's content.

Well if you've never seen that, its alright because that is exactly what Shlok was doing yesterday. I am 100% convinced that Shlok needs a psychiatrist.

Anyone who knows a good psychiatrist, please help. Shlok needs one immediately.

sorry but i am perfectly sane so i don't know any psychiatrist. maybe u can consult Anjali. she loves shlok a lot so i am sure she will volunteer to do the dirty job just like she does for niranjan like this shloke wont have to stress himself out.

I am glad Aastha is not taking any of this lying down. She has already come out of the initial shock phase and I was not expecting her to gather herself up this fast. She is one brave girl and am hoping very soon she will start giving Shlok a taste of his own medicine. These days Shlok is scary but I guess the day is not far when he will reach a condition where we will start pitying him. Aastha will still have her loving parents, friends, old age home aunties in her life but Shlok will never forgive himself for throwing that one person out of his life who really cared for him - Aastha. Lage raho Shlok, the pit that you are digging happily these days for Aastha would eventually turn out to be your grave only!

Samridhi, nice to see a post from you after a long time? I agree shlok needs a psychiatrist ASAP. Someone who offers group discount would be ideal because the other freaks in the Agony house need treatment too.

I think Astha was able to recover quickly because somewhere she was always aware that he is capable of being quite a devil. She's seen the worst in Kohlapur. It's just that she chose to ignore it & believe that Shlok's goodness would override all that. But I am glad that she's now starting to understand that not everyone is good.

I pity Shlok already, esp. after yesterday when he kept re-iterating that she'll have to see the face she hates for the rest of her life. Did he forget that ultimately she fell for this very face? He is so consumed by the thrill of breaking her that he doesn't realise the kind of damage he's doing to himself as well.

Run Astha run. You deserve better.

HAHA. True. All of the Agnihotris need a psychiatrist. Imagine if they were suddenly placed in the Kirloskar house. It would be amusing because they would find all that 'happy family' abnormal. But they don't realise that their family is the abnormal one.

I realised after the dining table scene in 2 episodes back that they have all become so desensitized to the house running like a military regime that they were having their own little fun watching Astha & Shlok 'fight'. Its such an interesting & new sight for them.

LOL Anjali does seem to act like Niranjan's psychiatrist because she keeps his mind cool. If not for her, I wonder how Niranjan would be like? Would he still manage to be as calm as he is right now?

Really looking forward to the day when Anjali's outburst happens. Because that would be the day when Niranjan would be finished.

Sam, you have a point. Astha and Shlok's marriage has provided them entertainment. Varad is happy that his little brother is the only one able to marry the girl of his choice and now he is vicariously living his life through him. Sojal too has got some entertainment, otherwise daily work and scoldings were all she was getting. Now she can also have some bonding time with other women and indulge in normal gossip where she is constantly trying to find out relationship secrets of Shlok and Astha. The tapping of plates have also stopped and the serving style is now an almost normal serial type serving style where women serve and guys sit at the table. This is the style that is in almost every serial, even in the ones that are advertised as highly progressive.
