Dipika Kakar reveals 22% of her liver was removed: 'Doctors don't have an answer about my cancer…'

Dipika reveals that medical team struggled to identify the cause. "My surgeon and family doctor say that out of all these years of experience, if they are asked how this happened to her, they don’t have an answer, "Dipika revealed. The uncertainty has sparked curiosity, but the actress remains steadfast. "Definitely any kind of toxicity might have entered the body. Bas hona hota hai toh ho jata hai. I don’t even often eat junk food. They still don’t have an answer," she said.

Talking about Shoaib’s support to her, Dipika says, "Mera koi test nahi ho sakta without Shoaib. It’s only possible when he is with me. Shoaib always holds my hand or touches my feet during any test," Dipika said, crediting husband Shoaib Ibrahim for her strength. Dipika’s treatment journey has been rigorous- 22% of her liver was removed to excise the tumor, and she’s currently on oral medication. “My tests are coming right,” she noted optimistically. A follow-up FAPI scan (similar to a CT scan) is scheduled for November, part of a two-year watch for recurrence. “I’m manifesting to be physically fit,” she affirmed, turning uncertainty into hope.
