Baseer Ali has finally cleared the air regarding reports suggesting his involvement in the next season of Naagin 7. The former reality show contestant, who has steadily built a television career, confirmed that he has not been approached for the popular supernatural drama. In a recent interaction, he discussed his professional journey, his television experience, and his upcoming plans.

From Reality TV to Fiction

Baseer Ali rose to fame through Bigg Boss 19 and later transitioned into acting with Kundali Bhagya. Reflecting on his acting debut, he admitted that working on the show was a completely new experience for him. “I never expected to act or to work with a production house like Balaji Telefilms,” he shared. Recalling his time on set, he mentioned how he learned a great deal from working alongside actors such as Shraddha Arya, Shakti Anand, and Neelu ji.

He credited the show for shaping his early acting career and added that, if given the opportunity, he would personally thank producer Ekta Kapoor for trusting him with the role.

“No Call Yet for Naagin 7”

Addressing ongoing speculation about Naagin 6, Baseer clarified that he is not a part of the new season. “Unfortunately, no. I haven’t received any call, and I think the cast would have been locked by the time the news started circulating,” he stated.

He also mentioned staying in touch with his mentor, actor Varun Kapoor, with whom he occasionally discusses future projects. “We talk often, and he tells me things like ‘we are planning something,’ but nothing is confirmed yet. Let’s hope for something good,” Baseer added, leaving the door open for future collaborations.

Something interesting has come up in Hyderabad, and I’ll be going there soon for a meeting,” he said, hinting at upcoming projects outside the Hindi circuit.
