The whole household was busy getting things for Payal, Akash and Mama ji...Some sending pickles, some sending sweet meats...Buaji sending ladoos for Payal...Mami ji sending a whole lot of things...Khushi had also gone out and got everything that Payal had asked for...
Arnav had seen all the things and screamed...Im only going for a week or two and I will have to carry all this with me? I was thinking of taking only a small suitcase...
Khushi...Arnav ji, you will have to take all this for Jiji and when you come back, you will have to bring whatever JI ji gives you for us...We have already send her our lists...And mami ji's list is the longest...
Shaking his head Arnav had said...A Woman's shopping is never done...

Three days had passed since Arnav left for New York...It had been very hard to bid bye to him...The house seemed empty...Before leaving he had left strict instructions for Aman regarding the security of their house...He had held her in his arms and had told her to look after herself and Zoyee...Cause he couldnt live without them...
Khushi was busy trying her hands at designing and also looking after Zoyee...She was really missing her Da-Da...She had a habit of sleeping on top of him. She cried every night before sleeping...
Khushi was also missing him badly and she was also feeling guilty. She hadn't told him about her meeting with Di and she was not comfortable with it...She believed that God had separated them cause she had gone against Arnav ji and had betrayed him...
Dadi saw Khushi chewing her finger nails and she asked..What's wrong Khushi?
Khuhsi looked at dadi ji and said...Nothing...Just missing Arnav ji...
Khushi had decided that she would try and tell this to Arnav ji, How she didnt know...But she will...
Khushi was trying hard to put Zoyee to sleep, but she was constantly crying...She didnt know what to do, so she msged Arnav to face time her...
Khushi knew it was morning in New York and Arnav must be busy working...But she had no choice...He face timed and spoke to Zoyee for a while...Zoyee was over joyed to see her Da da. She took the phone from Khushi's hand and started talking to him, in her own language... Arnav spoke to her for a while and then he had to go. Zoyee was not in the mood to say bye and started to cry again... Khushi had a hard time putting her to sleep...
Eight days had passed...Zoyee had finally realized that she would have to sleep by holding the iphone. Khushi would face time Arnav ji and he would talk to them for a while and when he would say bye, Khushi would put on his pic on the phone, so Zoyee could see that and think he's there and would go to sleep...
On the 10th night, Zoyee had already fallen asleep before he face timed them...Khushi took the phone away from the
bed, so Zoyee wouldnt be disturbed and spoke to him in peace...
Arnav informed her that most of his work was done. And he was waiting for a few confirmations then he would be back...Khushi had smiled... Arnav had noticed something wasn't right, so he had asked what was troubling her...
Khushi had smiled and said...Arnav ji, Di had called and wants to meet me...
Arnav had gone pale...Khushi, you are not going anywhere to meet anyone, you understand that?
Khushi had nodded...Aaa...Arnav ji...Di really sounded desperate...
Arnav...No Khushi...i said NO, so thats it...
Khushi...OK, can I face time with her? And see what she wants?
Arnav...NO... Put a ladder on the back wall and talk to her...But dont go anywhere near them...You hear me? (sarcastically) Till I tell you, you are not going to put your foot out the main gate...You got that?
Khushi...I wont go...please don't get upset...
Arnav was really worried now. He knew Khushi would go to meet his Di. And he also knew Shyam was dangerous, so he couldnt risk Khushi going to meet her. He should never have left her alone. Dammit...
Arnav was very upset...Khushi could see that...She assured him that she wouldnt go to meet Di...But he was not satisfied. He said bye and disconnected the call...
Now Khushi was more worried..She regretted telling him all this now when he was so far away...Now he would worry unnecessary... She went to bed and tried to sleep...
After 10 mins there was a soft knock on the door...She went to open the door, saw Dadi ji and Shanti bai... Both had come to sleep with her...Khushi had been shocked but she didnt say anything and welcomed them in the room...
In the morning Amma and Buaji came and they were with Khushi the whole time...Not leaving her even for a second...Something wasnt right, but Khushi couldnt figure out what... Zoyee was very happy to see her Na na...They distracted her and kept her busy...While Khushi was busy working on the designs in the office upstairs...
At night Dadi ji and Shanti bai again came to sleep in Khushi's room...Zoyee saw them and was very happy. She and Shanti bai played till she fell asleep...
This continued for three days and nights...Arnav ji face timed regularly too...Everything seemed normal...But something was really fishy...Khushi didnt know what was going on...
