Arnav was holding her tight and rubbing her back...Trying to calm her...Shhh...Khushi, are you alright?

He knew he had to distract her so he said...You know what happened at the office today?

That caught her attention and she looked up at him and asked...The main one? What happened? Did you find something in the CCTV system?

Arnav nodded and said...We turned all the electricity off and got the camera's checked...All are tempered...They are sending data outside the office...We have given all details to the police...They will silently investigate everything but wont react till I ask them to...

Khushi...Thats good...but wont Shyam find out that you got the system checked?

Arnav smiled...We planned it well... After the lights came back I went to the conference room and scolded Aman a lot...That how can he be so careless...He should fire the guy who takes care of the generator...How come the generator didnt turn on automatically...

Arnav continued...So now Shyam wont suspect...And then Aman and I discussed the fake contracts and gave all fake information and quotes...Now im waiting for him to pass this information to my rivals...He will face their wrath soon...

Khushi smiled and said...Well done...But be careful...I would say, be extra careful...He can harm us...Shyam is dangerous...Thinking about Di's warnings...She had to tell him something...

Arnav sighed and said...Yes I know he can harm us, we will be careful, but that doesnt mean we fear him and dont live...

Khushi ...But, we cant let him harm us...

Arnav became serious and sighed...I know Khushi...IM going to ask Aman to double our security...

Khushi nodded...and what about the contract that you were waiting for?

Arnav put his arms around the two and the three stood together...Zoyee baby talking and entertaining her parents...

The three were smiling when the phone rang...Arnav checked and answered the call...Yes Aman...What happened...Are you sure...What??? Arnav smiled...Yes yes...No, dont come home...I dont want this news to leak out...Meet me at the new restaurant...Ya I'll text u the address...Double security ever where...yes...from right now...

Arnav disconnected the call and said...Khushiii...we got the contract...YES!!!... Aman has the check...Dont tell anyone about this...Get ready...I have found a new restaurant...And im going to treat you there tonight...Lets go...

Khushi...But..Shyam...

Arnav...We will be careful, I wont let him ruin my life style...

The three went to the new restaurant and Aman came and gave Arnav the folder and said...Congratulations Sir...We did it...

Arnav smiled and said...Picture abhi baki hai meray dost...(This is just the start...A lot has to be done...)

After Aman left Arnav called the waiter and asked him to serve the food he had ordered on the phone...

Zoyee was jumping in her high chair...Khushi was trying to keep her busy and said...When did you call the restaurant?

Arnav smiled...Its all a surprise...so enjoy it...

The waiter came with all the goodies that Khushi loved...Gol gappas, jalibees, Hyderabadi Biryani, Kababs, etc.

Khushi saw all the goodies and said... OMG...Arnav ji you are the best...I love you so much...

Arnav smiled and said...I know...

During dinner Arnav told Khushi that he was very happy that he got this contract. Now he wanted Khushi to help him with it... He knew she was very good with the designing and color combination...So he said...You will have to help me...Its a huge order and I need new ideas...So from tomorrow, I want you upstairs in the office...

Khushi smiled and said..Sure..would Love to get my hands on some paper, pencils and colors...

Zoyee cooed banging the spoon on the table...Mum mum...Khushi looked at her and said..Dont worry we both will sit together and play with colors...

Arnav smiled...He was happy..All was going according to his plan...well almost all was...He still had to tell her one piece of news, which he was sure she wouldnt like...But he had to do it...

After dinner they went home... Took some food for Dadi ji and Shanta bai...

Khushi was on the bed, feeding Zoyee. Arnav came and sat beside them and kissed Khushi. Zoyee saw him and wanted him to pick her up...

Khushi..Hmmm...finish having your milk first...But now Zoyee was not interested in anything but her Da Da...She didnt like being scolded, so she bit her mom hard and Khushi screamed...AAA...Dont do that...

Arnav asked...Why are you screaming?

Khushi...Shes biting me...

Arnav smiled and said...Khushi it cant be that bad...shes just a baby...

Khushi...Really...give me your hand... She took Aranv ji's finger and put it in Zoyee's mouth and said...Now bite this...hard...

Zoyee needed no second invitation and she bit hard on her da da's finger and he screamed...Aaa...that hurts...

Khushi laughed and said...You think I was exaggerating...

Arnav apologized to Khushi and to Zoyee he said...Don't bite your mom...

After she finished, Arnav took her in his arms and said...Khushi, I...He paused and said...You know how desperately I wanted this contract...

Khushi...Yes...and you got it right?

Arnav...Yes I got it...but now I will have to work very hard...

Khushi...IM sure you will do a great job...

Arnav nodded and smiled...Ill try my best...aa Khushi...I need to tell you something...

Arnav...Khushi, for this contract, I will have to gather samples and designs myself...and for it...I will need to go to New York for a few weeks...

Khushi's heart sank, he was leaving them alone...She turned and looked at him and said...New York...For how many weeks?

Arnav...I am going to ask Akash to start working ahead of me, so by the time I go there, most of the work is done...Ill try to finish it in, say 7 to 10 days...maximum 15 days...

Arnav continued...Khushi, I know we havent been apart for even a single day...And I dont feel good leaving you and Zoyee...but...

Khushi knew it was hard for him too, but he had to go..this was important...So she said..Arnav ji, I wont be alone, Dadi ji is here, then Nani ji and Amma...We will be fine...Just come back in 15 days or sooner...

Arnav...I wish I can take you both with me...But visas and all will require time, and I don't want to waste that...I want to go there, get the work done, finalize it and come back home...asap...

Khushi nodded...Please dont worry about us...We will miss you a lot, but we will be fine, and you will call us everyday?

Arnav...Of course... ill face time you...

Khushi smiled and said...ok...when are you leaving?

Arnav...Ill msg Aman and Akash, then leave as soon as I can...

Zoyee was fast asleep in her Da da's arm's and snoring softly...Arnav looked at her, lovingly pushed her hair back and bent down, kissed her forehead then said...Khushi, please look after both of you...I love you both very much...

Khushi snuggled closer to him and said...And we love you a lot too Arnav ji, so plz do look after yourself, take your food and medicines on time. Finish your work and come back to us soon...

Arnav nodded and kissed her...He hated leaving them alone...Can he take the risk of leaving them alone?
