he is soo annoying and irritating

Excuse me, but it was not part of some script or to gain sympathy!! The man died a day before their performance!! Obviously he would be on their minds! There was an article this week where they they mentioned his death!! It was unexpected, do you really think they have the time to change their whole performance and then dedicate it to him!! Just because the concept suit the purpose?!! You obviously are looking at the performance as 'sexy' performance! But to it was just a performance!! An outstanding performance!! He mentioned his uncle because he was excited for Raqesh cause he always wanted him to take the challenge of dancing which is what he doing!! Unforunately he died, but of course all their performances will be a dedication to him not just this one!! Because he is dancing like his uncle wanted him to do for a long time!! So have some respect !!
