Episode 435 Discussion: 21st Nov 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Note: Data converted from TVTs to TRPs from week 31 onwards. Does not take into consideration impact of adding new markets at various points. Size of these markets, viewing patterns, demographics, level of digitization etc. of those markets would impact TRPs. Also, hard to judge IPL's exact impact.
The two charts below show: 1) Top 15 shows TRPs and 2) TRP increase/drop for those shows, compared to the week prior. The blue bars on the second chart are the ones that did better, the red are the ones that did worse, and the no bars are the ones that were the same. TVTs (which I believe do provide an accurate picture of relative rankings) were used to rank the shows.

Note: this is a rough analysis. Please feel free to point out any holes.

so the precap was indeed about the abortion ...i feel sad...he desires the baby so desperately...and to hide his feelings he yells and then ends up giving the final 2 day ultimatum

the breakfast scene was boring 🤢 moreover it was slow

the set...bittuji explains the shot to rji and to audience...ok we got it...it is safe..but what about the heat and smoke 🤢

just before this scene RK gets a BD to do the scene but, MC insists otherwise saying it is absolutely safe and he has taken safety measures 🤢...kya safety measures thhe?? nobody was guarding the back door 🤢

the rk madhu talk was eqqually useless...madhu says "main apni safety ke chakkar mein kisi aur ki life mushkil mein nahi daal sakti (referring to rk's life here)...and the next moment she is ready to risk her baby's life 🤢

all in all a slow episode...so okayish kind of episode...

precap : looked nice but my logical self says RK shud have just picked up his phone and called bittuji 😆

but obviously drama 😆

Today was one day where I couldn't hate Pabo bec. I felt that ppl. like Madhu deserve people like Pabo around her...this is one moment where I'll not feel sad if she loses her baby bec. she is not fit to be a mother..

not just risking her own life but the baby's life too , which she claims to be saving at any cost , by doing a scene in which she has to run (she can trip and fall) , she has to inhale toxic smoke (which may be fatal for the baby) , she goes ahead and shows her foolhardiness , ONLY bec. she was angry with her husband and wanted to get back at him 🤢 previously I thought may be she opted for suicide when RK will give her an ultimatum but no !

what should I review here? I was happy seeing MAdhu shouting help help, just like Pabo 🤢 this serial has really made me an immoral, insensitive jerk like RM !

ETA Ah yes ! yes ! how can I forget..MC deserves to be in jail for putting his artist's life at risk, not once but twice ! what an overconfident fool he is 🤢 perfectly suited for his muse MAdhu !

It was a filler kind of episode for me, build up for the drama we all know is coming. Will end the week-end on a positive note after a long time...😊

@charu though I agree with you that madhu deserves pabo, but I'm still upset that the CVs show an attempt to murder being condoned for some regressive superstitious belief ... that really send a very wrong message to the audience at large. I know it may sound silly, but I have seen fist hand how people perceive these things to be true and thus to be followed..🤢

I just wish RK had at least caught a glimpse of her when he came behind the set

I'm talking the shot walk through by bituji as a quick lesson on how shootings are done for the mass audience who don't watch the on location videos or use the net.

pabo and her ladoos, although it is recommend not to have till, todays modern OBGYN will tell you nothing is really prohibited except may be alcohol and narcotics in any form. and as far as till si conserned, even if madhu were to eat all those ladoos in one go it would not cause mc, but then this si MB land medical science. may be since this is 1st month, she mixed the Ipill with the tills

I just don't understand what exactly is madhu trying to prove by doing the stunt herself. really their fights were tit for tat even in the 4 phera wedding phase but they had a panache, now they are simply childish. RK would not agree to change script, but want to change it for madhu, RK wanted to do original script so madhu too will do original script that too herself...😡

sad that the 48 hrs deadline was for abortion but again a glimpse of MB land medical science, you can feel the baby in the first month itself..😆. but I'll grant VD the acting and facial expression wonderfully portraying the dilemma and as usual he lashes out when he is cornered.

Although I fondly but also sadly reminiscence the old days when Cv used to expect us to read the multiple layers of the scene, I am now just talking things at face value.. so liked that RK sense that madhu was in trouble.

Just a Q on that if they were shooting on two cameras, was the camera in side the "hose" operated remotely?, why was there no camera man there? also even if we were to assume that it was a remote camera, why could madhu simply not shout for a cut and help into that camera when she sensed that the shot was going wrong 😲

again for MC I still don't understand how if a "dupe" (see I learnt a new word used in production, apart from "set mark", "cutter", "baby light", "order".. see CVs are educating us through this track --- all we got previously was just "pack up" 🤣 but I digress here.

so what I don't understand is why will a dupe make the scene look unnatural? are they going to use the fact that madhu did the stunt herself as part of their film publicity ? I know Hritiks and Akshay or some of SRK ad Salmas film are promoted such...😕

I am all confused as to what exactly is the story of the film even the heroine centric one. first of all Bituji says there is no action, but a fire sequence even as vision-ed is an action sequence. secondly is the the last shot in the film, or last shot being filmed? what story is this where in heroin running from goons and hides in a burning building. She dies a martyr being a rani of jhansi? no hero to save her or her using her brains to save herself?😕 kesi ke samazh me aye ya kuch suzhe to hame bhi samzhana please😛😉

Precap: waiting for tomorrow's episode, just cause I hope I shall not be fretting over the week-end seeing any negativity... I don't mind a dragged out episode 2'orow but ending in RK being cured and madhu alright instead of showing some more negativity form evilness

@4everoptimist, agreed dear, i didn't mean it in literal sense, i was just too angry with Madhu , specially when she gives this determined look and does these foolish acts sirf sirf RK ko chidane ke liye...this is not childish, it's frustrating, dono mein se koi ek akal ka kaam kar le, how are we supposed to sympathize with them ?

n audience do not take inspiration from ppl. like Pabo, they want Pabo to be punished, they want ppl. like Guruji and Pabo to be proved wrong ..Ideally she and MC should be behind the bars but how can we blame them we madam herself agreed to do a risky stunt while she was pregnant..and RK tried every means , change the scene, ask Radha, ask Mc, get the body double but this girl doesn't budge frm her foolish stance !! ya toh phir keh deti ke stop worrying about me and my child, get lost ! why cry "help RK help" ! woh apni help kar nahi sakta uski kya karega.

pehli baar WHERE was the stunt? do they call it a stunt?

i just hate it the way MC chides RK ...during the stabbing scene he is ordering "yeh nakli chaku hai maaro maaro" , and this time "kuch nahi hoga chup raho, bhago bhago" , maine safety dekh li , yeh kar liya woh kar liya...and when therez a mishap, he's nowhere to be seen..responsibility toh chodo, aur bakwas harkatein next time...that's why he and Madhu are made for each other...IMO the time duration for which Madhu was locked up inside was enuf to make her faint?

Rk= Dear, you have my sympathy once again👏, although I still hate the fact that you asked for abortion but I think with this traumatic fear you will be going through you will know about the real value of your wife and baby! (he already feels guilty, he told Madhu why do you give me takleef when she asked him to feel his baby by touching her tummy)
Mehul = Most dangerous Director I've ever seen whenever he says don't worry everything will be ok or insists on something a tragedy is on the way

Thank God My hero Rk is there, Cvs always fail to make us angry with him and Madhu with her stubborness and I can do it expression doesn't inspire courage but she comes out as an extremely irritating and dumb woman, she said that many lifes are related to this movie so she will do the scene, but she forgot about her baby's life, if she was all the time confident and professional, I might have understood her stance but here I'm sorry she seems to do it more out of ego to contradict Rk than out of professional behaviour!!!!!

Precap: I love it of course, we always like hero in rescue missions especially of the heroine

Just to not seem harsh, I reiterate that Madhu's arguments to Rk in yesterday's first scene, seemed quite logical to me, but then she had to act stubborn to do the fire scene which doesn't go well with what she said before.

Hey peeps! 😊 The epi was the build up 4 tomorrow's action packed epi 😆 hopefully. Nothing much to say so i was right in my yest review that pabo used Til ke ladoo and was on a mission 2 feed mb 🤢 i wonder how speedy this buddhan is that she pushed mb nd ran away locked the door nd again ran away 😆 . 1st Rm scene was so illogical but highlighted Rk's dillema.
Breakfast scene was a filler one.

Shooting scene i must say nautanki walon ne ainvyi pure set ke darshan kara diye 😆 kuch to kharcha kiya!
Mc discussing the scene well the actor is very OTT.
How dare Rk gave his views 😡 as usual heroine-director se beizzati karwaryi nd chup-chap kone mein baith gaya on his red chair like a Good (spot) boy😳 😆
I noticed this thing again 2day not sure if Dd is doing it wrongly or if cv's intent to show madhu njoying the limelight coz whenever mc nd crew praises her she loves it nd 2day she was loving all the media attention while entering the studio till she saw Rk 😕
Liked that Rk sensed that her khatron ki khiladi biwi might be in danger. 😆

What i loved in the epi was the Precap 😳 so the supermommy is in trouble nd the paralytic superhero to the rescue 😆 ahaan! I am looking 4ward to Vd's performance tom. it seemed very good. Btw i also felt that mb would blame Rk 4 the mishap not her dear mehul sir. Uff dis (MC-MB) duo are such a mutual admiration society 😆 how i wish Rk to bajaoy them post the accident but Alas! 🥱 😆

Btw guys i am just loving this place. 😛
