Sohail Khan is all set for a change of address. The actor has bought a sprawling house in Kiran Towers in Pali Hill, Bandra.

Interior decoration is currently in progress, and he will move in with his wife Seema and son Nirvaan within the next six months.

Currently, Sohail lives in the fort-like Galaxy Apart-ments at Bandra Bandstand, where the entire Khan family has been living for over four decades.

Father Salim and mothers Salma and Helen, along with brothers Salman and Arbaaz, youngest sister Arpita, and bhabhi Malaika and nephew Arhaan have all lived under the same roof.

That was before Arbaaz and Malaika moved out over two years ago. Now, Sohail is the latest Khan to wing his way out of the family's nest.

Not much further

When contacted, Sohail admits, "Yes, we are shifting. We have bought a new house in Pali Hill and are very excited about it. It is going to give us ample space."

Sohail reveals that they had several options before zeroing in on Kiran Towers. "Since I've been living in Bandra for so many years, I didn't want to move to a new locality.

The shift in address will not even require Nirvaan to change his school. We aren't going very much further from where I currently stay," he says.

Another reason why Kiran Towers got Sohail's nod of approval is that it is an old, established society with good security.

"Frankly, I didn't want to shift into a new building because most of them concentrate on having large parking areas and gardens, rather than having spacious compounds. Kiran Towers is perfect in that respect."

Interior designer Ninad Pardeshi, who decorated Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor's home a few months ago, will be doing up the Khan residence.

Of course, none of his creative touches will hold water unless Seema okays them. A reliable source says, "Sohail loved Sanjay's house, so that's how Ninad came into the picture."
