Not all scene were false. The ones were he was angry and linking Swati with Astha were not false and that shows that he has some emotional attachment towards Astha. The scenes with songs in the background in male voice were also not completely false. That also showed him developing hidden feelings feelings. He is not aware of them but they are there.
Regrading nothing is as important as Astha to him that was also true...nothing is as important as his ego and his baba's name to him and Astha destroyed both. So nothing is as important as destroying Astha to him...

Regarding never telling lies...Shloke also told in the ashram that Astha has taught him that if lies can help someone then there is no harm in telling them. So if all his lies can help baba then what is the harm? So he can turn his never telling lies dialogues and tell Astha that he is doing what she has taught him to do.

Usually his dialogues have double meaning. We will have to wait and see which meaning was the right one.

angry romantic scenes.. reminded me to Arnav recollecting his supposedly romantic scenes with Khushi and narrating to NK bhai.
