Ela, you know what, you're right ... this Bakshi bano situation also has to come out in this solution to this pregnancy track. Hope it does, for that girl is also suffering silently!

And if Jalal comes to know that Bakshi is lying, the next question will be about why ... and it will have to come out about Sharif and how he is treating his sister, and what else Sharif's ambitions are.

This Bakshi's truth holds many keys to Sharif, not just for now but also in the future. Bakshi is like a barometer of Sharif's intentions!

mansi I must tell you the truth...I dont have an ounce of sympathy for BB...Never had any...She is getting what she deserves...

She doesn't have guts to tell the truth abt SD to Jalal but has guts to harm her bhabhi ...She is not a very loyal sort of person or she would not have deceived her loving brother...

maybe salima begum wld smell something fishy abt it...i see her getting much attention nowadays...she may give somekind of vital information to jodha or jalal abt the conspiracy

i also hope if he gets any clue on this issue he should jointly work with jodha to resolve the issue as she is not only sensible bt also she has rights to fight agnst the evil that had befallen on her

Baubles, I so agree with you on Bakshi Bano! I am always able to sympathise with people who are genuine victims of other people's evil. But I draw the line when I find women who choose to think of themselves as victimised when they could stand up for what they believe if they find someone close to them doing evil.

See in that older scene at Amer when Bakshi tells Jodha not to expose Sharif, her reason for trying to save Sharif is not because she loves him or believes him to be innocent etc. Her reason is that she has been through widowhood once and doesn't want that again.

I can fully see why she says that because when the plight of women was so bad in general at that time, the life of a widow must have been hundred times worse. But still, in my book, that is not a good enough reason to aid someone like your husband to "harm" someone else and get away with it.

She has to have some principles of where she looks at self-interest versus harm to others wilfully done and abetted. If she wants to be flexible to her husband let her condone what he does to her (if that makes her feel it is better than being a widow). But when he is harming someone else, she cannot in all conscience be an abetter to crime just to prevent a second widowhood. My mind is unable to buy that position!

That's why I hope even if she was the one in the kitchen, she was at least surreptitiously trying to undo what Sharif was doing rather than helping Sharif harm Jodha-Jalal marriage!

Yes I agree with your assessments! If he can work with Jodha instead of alone by himself, nothing like it!

mansi exactly that is why I dont respect BB...She says that she doesn't want to be a widow...as it will make life difficult for her but does she has no idea that difficult life will be for Jodha if she is proved characterless in the eyes of society...I am sure BB understands that but still she is willing to assist SD...
