Dear diary,
Ufff...so much of negativity in the forum...some of which, I agree is warranted. But I really don't know how much of the allegations are actually deserved...may be it is because I have a soft corner for the show..may be it is because I know there is nothing great about any of the top rated shows. The story is really dragging in almost all these top shows, for me as a viewer...
DABH is at its interesting best👏- female protagonist gets grilled in PSC interview...the only show that holds my interest other than QH, currently.
PKD: Some nonsensical re- wedding track🥱...celebrated in all pomp and glory.🥱 Two dead looking leads!🤢
BV: Again, some nonsense about someone's atheeth now that the story has been told...🥱
JA: Is it not time they moved the story forward? Somebody is pregnant or not pregnant.🤔..nobody knows how she got pregnant, if she is at all!!!😲🤣
MB: This is the story they wanted to tell...the heroine entering the Film industry...'abhimaan' track.😊 Only, it is told twisting the hero's credibility so much...not a surprise for a hero who has long ceased to be a hero, in any sense of the word.
In this mess of crap I got to watch, QH still holds me as a viewer👏...and I am happy I can watch something with a sense of peace.😳 It may not be perfect, there might be loads of fillers...but I AM HAPPY AS A VIEWER, because I have sat thru worse. I know they have not touched up on anything at all...Abbu, factory, AsYa nikah...and I am happy. Because it is difficult to dilute a story for longevity, and still retain its flavour. As a viewer who is interested in beyond AsYa, I feel honestly that the story has been progressing' holding off the trump cards...which essentially means the story will really not have progressed much. Somehow, it does not trouble me much.😳
Chalo, with that...I am concentrating on the sisters...
Najma- Nikhat:👏
Najma is insecure, since all this is happening right after Tanveer. Haseena Bee asks her a valid question, what was Nikhat doing just then and there, when she should have been with her shauhar'...and hints towards the sleeping arrangements. Jealousy is a monster easily aroused, where there is no foundation of trust..and even if Najma trusts Imran, she is suspicious about Nikhat. Should she not spend a moment thinking how the snake landed up in Nikhat's bed or who pushed her?...but she is only a girl who has got married in a rush. She has not seen the world, and will believe what is told her...much like Humeira did.
Zoya- Humeira: 👏Actually did not get to watch that lovely conversation...but I gather everything is forgiven and forgotten...precisely where I wanted the sisters to be, before Abbu's truth. Humeira, a parchhayi of Zoya...and proud to proclaim so👏...this was always what I wanted the equation to be, between them. May be it will waver a bit now and then, due to many interferences, but ultimately I want Humeira to be excited when she gets a sister.
For me , these are both growth in the story...Najma who initially kept a distance from Nikhat, grew to love her and care for her as a sibling, only to back off when she is threatened with a sauten angle.
And Humeira, who considered Zoya a threat to her love story, has learned to trust and understand Ayan better...and to respect and love Zoya. If she was willing to do this for Asad Bhaijaan before, now she is also willing to do it for Zoya Baaji.👏
Dilshad- Rashid: Yes. Dilshad is considering Rashid's offer. Rashid's dream is to live together as one household...which is not going to come true any time now. And Dilshad is not going to give in to his request and her heart's desires at the expense of another woman's unhappiness and her own son's wrath. Because that defeats the very purpose of what Rashid wants- peaceful coexistence. Rashid has just gathered the strength to ADMIT to what he wants...inspite of knowing he does not deserve this happiness...IT IS JUST THE FIRST STEP. There are many more hurdles and heart breaks before he can achieve the dream of having all his children under one roof.
Raziya and her conscience: Raziya is a lady who believes many impossible things. She really believed Dilshad was out to kill her daughter through Zoya...now when she is receiving anonymous threats, could she attribute it to Dilshad- the woman who was wronged when she tried to hide her crime? Is this distraction going to set her off her track, guide her to newer plots to keep Dilshad away from Rashid?
Badi Bi did succeed once in fooling Raziya that her crimes were haunting her...who is it this time? As of now, Raziya could even be thinking it is the ghost of Zainab...but very soon, she is going to connect the dots...right or more likely, wrong. And if Raziya is being misled, who can it be other than Tanveer? I feel quite strongly this could be Tanveer, since she is the only one who has some hunch about the secret (thanks to the doll), apart from Rashid.
AsYa:
I found Zoya very cute. She was really hyper...hyper excited about having such a wonderful surprise planned by peope who loved her. She was bordering on bizarre behaviour, in face of that excitement..a fact Asad appreciated. He is happy that he had that effect on Ms. Farooqui...more than making her just happy, he succeeded in creating the most wonderful birthday of her life, MAKING HER DELIRIOUS WITH JOY.👏👏👏
He is greedy for more smiles and hugs from Zoya...he presents her a beautiful watch. A watch is always a beautiful gift...but he has a reason attached to this particular gift...it is for her to count the days till she can be called his...forever..once the legalities surrounding the talaq are taken care of- much like lovers marking the day of their union on a calendar...
I deeply appreciated the way Asad declared that the talqnaama has been signed and mention of the 3 month waiting period...this was so much better than an awkward scene with Ayan and Zoya signing the document...👏
What could be the significance of 3 months? 3 months from 9th Nov...around Valentine's day...will that be the day the alarm rings? Where would Asad and Zoya be when that date comes finally? Where will the two sister Najma and Nikhat, and the two wives Shireen and Dilshad be, by then? What would Raziya have done to keep the girl out of her shauhar's life by then...and what would Tanver want to do with her hatred for Zoya and her information about her parentage...and clues to a possible murder? Quite an interesting tale, as of now...😳
I don't know about the trp audience...the story is still going strong for me.
PS: I hope I have not bashed any one's fav shows...if I did hurt any sentiments, I apologise...😳
