Hello.

Hoping this is an active Forum... 😆 Was wondering if anybody here knows anything about 50 Shades of Grey? Heard about it when it came out few years back but ignored cause of its content.

Now, again hearing A LOT about 50 shades of Grey seeing it surpassed Harry Potter series ... Now they are turning it into a movie! (Poor fans) My hands are itching to read it but scared of its violent ... Erotic ... content! Why in the world then US/UK readers going crazy over it? lol

Is it worth a good romance?

It's a good read, I must say but if you're not the kind of person to read explicit mature content, then probably not. It's not violent, however (well not the domestic violent kinda anyway).

Certainly. Christian Grey will make you fall in love with him :P

Well. As long as I get connected with the characters its all good. I mean hero hitting heroine and feeling good about? How come one gets connected? Heard its in first person? I hate reading those. Get frustrated not knowing what the other lead is thinking. So don't know...

Well, the language is pathetic n poor. But Grey is an awesome character , charismatic totally. I've read two books n liked them. But they're not every body's cup of tea .

Yes. A friend of mine gave it to me. Read a sentence or two. Seems like a teenager has written it. 😆

I don't mind reading first person. But I admit, yes, its quite frustrating not knowing what Christian is thinking in a certain situations.

I gave up on halfway through the second one. I just for some reason, couldn't carry on at all :/ I really liked the first one though.

Um...I don't know...and maybe I'm kind of an exception here, but...I read the first book and I completely hated it. I almost puked over it- I actually didn't dare read any others. So..yeah.

Ok...1st book is tolerable. There are a few good scenes before 'it' starts🥱2nd book is 🤢🤢.If you don't mind erotica romance you might actually like it. Didn't even bother to look at book 3.Book 2 was enough for surpassing my nauseating limits.😆😆Pathetic prose for me.😆

Well , I liked it , not very much...it was kind of okayish book to me .
The writing isn't much skilled one & as its an "erotic" novel , it has loads of adult contents . At first I was astonished (it was the first erotic novel I read 😆 ) , but then I tried some other erotic novels & understood that every "erotic" novel do have those contents . So if u have wishfully picked up an "erotic" novel , there's no point of crying why does it have so much suh scenes 😆

If you can ignore the adult parts , as a story I found it good 😊 I donno if I'm the only one , but the whole messed up boy , painful past , innocent girl , love & care & trending towards light kind of concepts r quiet good read for me . I like that kind of stories & 50 Shades is one of those type of story .

U can try it out if u r ready for the "erotic" part . The story is quiet good & Christian Grey will make you fall in love with him 😉
