Episode 427 Discussion: 12th Nov 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Ok episode - if only I weren't waiting for the other shoe to drop. The pessimistic me feels like we are watching the slow unravelling of RM. The other part of me wonders whether the twist would be that they overcome all these tests that life throws them, and move forward, together. In any event,

If it weren't for the undercurrents of Dips and Evilnesss machinations targeted at a vulnerable RK's fragile ego, I would have taken RK's words to Madhu at face value. Just the words a supportive husband should give his wife, who is off starting a new venture.
I have reached my threshold level of Evilness/Dips caucusing to breakup the pair. Hence fast-forwarded. But clearly, the modus operandi is to attack his sense of self worth.
So Madhu (DD looking lovely) is nervous at the set, RK boosts up her confidence. Then RK brings Chairmati - as Madhu said a loud OTT red chair, and plops himself on it. Promises that it will be there every time she shoots. Why do it feel like we're going to be treated to the sight of an empty Chairmati sometime soon?
RK wants to reduce the film's budget so that they lose only Rs.30 crores, vs. 40. He is confident that the film will be a flop. Uh-oh. Bittuji is suitably appalled.
RK is uncomfortable at "Anamika" dumping "Karan." And then can't bear it any more, so interrupts the scene, and goes home. The poor man is racked by insecurities and self-doubt at this stage. In his eyes, he has been totally marginalized.
Only to meet Dips who is back to her disgusting touchy-feely self. Yuck . And double yuck.
BTW, so Sikky is back - in the storeroom. Tender moment when Dips fills up the tray with food for him 🤣. But of course, she drapes herself around RK in his room. Sikky to Dips - "mujhe tumhare dimaag par poora bharosa hain" 😆. Poor Sikky (not really) I don't think talking to RK about forgiving him is high on Dip's priority list.
The soup - I sincerely hopes Madhu comes back and makes it. Otherwise...
I really liked DVD today - they did a lovely job. They are so very appealing (and not just visually), its hard to switch off this show.

The Precap: Pretty much the same as yesterday. Rising and falling stars. 🤢

bach gaye ! RK ke 10 crore bach gaye...muh pe maaro murthy ke 🤣 bet anyone whether the movie will be a hit or a flop? i badly badly want it to flop bec. I cannot stand that flop director for a minute 😡 He evokes the same kind of disgust in me which Sultan and Pabo did...you moron bas***d, to hell with your "kaun badtameez bola" 🤢 he didn't have the nerve to apologize to his employer..

coming to the epi,

nau sau choohe khake Pabo was feeling guilty but then she remembered tht she has to kick out Madhu from Rishu's life so she gave a green signal to Dips for the next plan...👎🏼 why do I feel that their plan will flop? well, this time, I want them to succeed...let Madhu face the wrath from all sides...she'll be damned if she does it, she'll be damned if she doesn't ! let her tell RK that he's jealous of her "success" ! let there be a permanent irrepairable rift this time...I don't want Madhu around RK, at least till the time he's cured...bec. he's broken from inside and he will never let her live in peace till normalcy is restored...

Dips Sikky were funny..but why is Dips helping Sikky? bec. she doesn't want to be kicked out of RK mansion? and Sikky is the only link? or she has developed a soft corner for Sikky, now tht RK is paralyzed?

RM's scene in the studio was a bore...although , i was smiling throughout, but with Karan out, my interest in Karan Anamika is over & now i'm hating Anamika more than Madhu...?MC's "art" ..is he writing the script in parallel to RM's life?

i'm very much depressed with the proceedings..mr. MC doesn't want his producer on the sets bec. he's useless , he's disturbing MC's art creation..if RK stays at home, the two witches will try their best to brainwash them..so what should he do? hhhmmm may be, at the chawl? sasu ma ke paas?

not so long ago when RK asked Madhu to forget her housewife role, Madhu was adamant tht she can never do it since this is her pehchaan...and now it's the same Madhu who will not have time for RK and RK mansion people...bec. Radha and Pabo are not waiting for her, it's RK this time, and he's supposed to understand her 🥱 kaafi jaldi she took her heroine role seriously..and at that time, everyone was saying, this is not her choice, how is she expected to forget her housewife job ?

Dips and RK...tomorrow...

RK gets easily influenced by Dips bec. she knows his weakness and she knows when and where to hit hard...👍🏼

ETA How does it feel to lose the adoration of millions of fans, lose the identity of a superstar, and sit at home waiting for ur wife to make "soup" ? ask RK 😆 he will no longer by loved & respected anymore , is it so easy to come to terms with this fact? he has always been Madhu's top priority & Madhu will not be there for him when he'll be needing her the most...why? bec. RM had no other option 🤢

I loved the epi :) Even couldn't help but smile in Sikky-Dips convo 😛 😆
I'll start from Deepali coz finally she is using her brains now, Glad to see the real "Evilness" back in her 😎 Unlike the boring Paabo 🥱

I know RK believing Deepali would be the silliest thing specially when he has experience in past with her, But for getting back Right Kamina I can handle any clunk 😳 😆 Waise bhi MC jaise super clunk ko tolerate kiya along with Madhu's Mahan Nivarans toh this is still nothing 😆 Btw I can already see the kamina traits coming out 😳 🤣 Go RK 🥳😆

Madhu looked lovely as Anamika and I sersly love this character !! The female version of RK, full of evil
Btw Yday I saw a "Hurt" feeling in Madhu's eyes when RK criticised her, I just wish she finally stops being Mahan and develops a chotu sa ego at least 😆 Every normal human has 😆

I want RK-MRK Fights back , Mr & Mrs Right Kamina ☺️

ok i havnt seen the episode neither read the WU...someone told me the budget of movie is cut down by 10 cr

if this is true then toh saari jhanjhat hi khatam...moorthy ko paise de do...get rk's house released from bank gaurantee and then studio toh baap ka hi hai...jitna chahe wait karlo..jab RK thik ho jaaye tab shooting karlo 🤣

agar paise use hi nahi kiye thhe toh majboori kahan se aayi?? 🤢

I am with you WIP...I am not sure where all the majboori talk is coming in...Aisa lag raha hai jaise RK ne saari duniya se karzaa liya ho. I do understand that this means his 20 crores are locked in a venture that may or maynot work out but is that not better than having a sword hanging on his head for all times.

Now for some observations

1) Bittuji's surprise when RK cuts funding by 10 crores...Instead of being surprised Bittuji should have been the one to make this suggestion...I wonder what is the source of Bittuji's confidence? Bittuji might be loyal but he once again proves that he has no business sense...wonder what management college he came from (he mentioned so in one of the episodes)

2)The way MC treated RK today and the way his wife and assistant stood mum. Who is this guy ...I can now see why he was thrown out of industry...he was better there. Not even a few days have passed since RK's accident and he considers his employer and money-bank useless...really!

3)AB is in jail for a murder charge and the BW fraternity (Producers association) is doing nothing to save its face...

The whole plot is so contrived that it is amazing...The goal at this point is to show that RK's star is falling rapidly while he stands helpless and Madhu's star is rising which honestly does not appeal to me.

Let me suggest few options that would have made more sense in terms of genuine reason for RK forced into giving Madhu centerstage.

1) The bank does not approve the loan (btw I don't think I have ever heard banks investing in risky ventures as this) and RK is forced to take loan from a shady character tied to underworld as his own assets are tied in and are unsaleable at this point. He get tied into a CBI case investigating his financier ...with the shooting already started...RK is in bind. Alternately Studio is burnt in the fire and two people die...investigations seem to imply that Studio did not met security standards ...the unions are on a warpath against RK. He needs to finish his movie fast (he has to pay for a studio too now) so he is forced to give centerstage to Madhu while he deals with legal issues.

2)MC and RK have creative difference ...MC is also very wasteful with money in his search for perfection in everything leaving RK frustrated, he is also not pleased with the team ...alternately MC is killed in AB/KB conspiracy ...leaving RK searching for another person to take place. Under the circumstances, he is forced to direct the movie himself and thus opts for a heroine-centric movie allowing him to do justice to all his roles on the set.

3)With so many unlucky things happening to this project ...the superstitious movie fraternity gives it wide berth. Morever Dips hints the media that Madhu has been said to be unlucky for RK...the media kicks a storm over it tying Madhu's past and speculating on how things are going between the couple...creating a situation where people are wary of Madhu on set. Fans start a twitter/online campaign against Madhu asking her to leave RK alone. All this starts to take a toll on Madhu's mental health. RK's personal ego takes a backseat and he takes it upon himself to prove everyone wrong opting for a heroine- centric movie to prove Madhu is not unlucky.

One request to Cvs, don't drag this for long please, whatever you want to show, show it ( anyways it doesn't seem like you would listen to what we want!), but please bring it on all quickly, no need to say that we all know by now or at least have many hints about what will be shown, so just spare us a very long torturing process

The only sight of Rk frustrated and just watching at the studio and later at home is very stressful, therefore I reiterate no matter how many mistakes Rk will make in the future, I can relate to him and understand him even with the fact that he seems to underestimate Madhu's power to attract audience to see the film, I know by fact she is a newbie and he is a superstar and logically he would be able to attract more audience but by experience you never know and you should never underestimate anyone or anything

It really hurts to see him sidelined, hope this bad phase passes quickly

Anyway I'll still keep hope that I'm wrong or that something good and entertaining might come out of this aura of negativity...

Today's episode was ok. The first part not so much but in the second part I felt that CVs are still exploring his state of mind. He is still under the impression and very vocal about the fact that RK ki film sirf RK ke bal per chalti hai. He is still in denial that Madhu of all people will be able to help him professionally somehow. He still thinks it is her bachpana, her immaturity, her love for him that is making her do all these things. That is why when he asks Bittuji to reduce the budget, he is very sure in his mind that yes we need to complete the movie but it does not need all that lavishness which would have been justified had RK been in it for the second part. Bas 30 karode mein kaam chalao kaise bhi.

So far, every time he went to a studio, he was the center of attention, all the buzz, curiosity was about him. People took great care not to do anything to offend him for the fear that PACK UP may be called. Today he is in the studio physically but as a bystander. Everyone's focus is on someone else, not him. Just knowing it implicitly and experiencing it in the full glare of the public are 2 different things and that is what hits him the most. He wants to get away from it all. He does not shout for spot with the intent to sabotage a newbie actress's shot and break her concentration. It all just gets to him, he feel suffocated and wants to be anywhere else but that place. When he initially announces to Madhu that he will be sitting on that chair, he has not yet grasped what it means to be there but not really be there.

At this point, he is not yet jealous of Madhu. How can he? It is just the first day. He is annoyed, frustrated at his own helplessness. He is frustrated that he has no one to openly discuss his fear that he may lose his professional identity, his super stardom, his fans love for good. People will forget him. This is the only thing he does, that he is very good at, the one that feeds his ego. Seeing it getting snatched out of his crippled hand's reach is too much to comprehend. His mental state is confused, frustrated, angry, helpless, trapped by the circumstances. He may need Madhu's shoulder to cry upon for general state of things but to share these deep seated fears, has to be with the one who either is in the same profession or someone who can respect this without sympathizing with him and who can offer constructive guidance, someone who is like a mentor.

So far no one has come to poison his mind about Madhu. That will happen tomorrow. or will it?

Wonderful and logical plots which would have achieved the same results as what they sought to do with the clunky plot at hand. 👏 Unfortunately the CVs either don't have the brains to come up with such plausible plots or they are plain lazy. These days I catch MB only on the repeat because I watch Ek Boondh Ishq on Life OK at 8.30 p.m. which is currently more interestingly poised than MB.
