From the time he was 2 i've been drilling it into him - that all special people had one thing in common. They had bad luck initially and lost their families as babies but found other homes who loved them as much as they could possibly and how the kids went on to develop in the most special way !!

Mowgli , Tarzan, Krishna, Spiderman, Kung Fu Panda, and so many more !!

And the homes these characters got were so loving and what matters most in life is love - no matter where you get it from. Mowgli got it form the wolf family and later Baloo and Bagheera. But unconditional love is a MUST.

Adoption takes 2 to 3 years and even after you get the baby home - for the first couple of months - our legal status is only that of a caretaker - NOT a parent. In the next 6 months - the agency reserves the right to come visit us for any number of home visits. Only after that does the court grant you an official parent decree !

It is a very very very huge thing !! Those who are naturally blessed with kids - don't often know how much more precious it is to get one of these diamonds in the dust as your own precious crown jewel.

Maybe Anandi and Shiv are going for adoption with social service in mind. However, after getting the child, as you guys say, they will realize the joy given by the child much exceeds the joy they give to the child.

Dsrupia, why do you think this willingness to adopt did not come from Anandi's heart?
Definitely it came from her heart. That is how many people in the west adopt specially people
Who already ave children. I have seen a couple already with 3 children adopting a child with
Slight problems from Latino country. That child was abused so much that he had insecurities
And some psychological problems. I have seen how well they take care of that child.

Because of the dialogues given. No person who does it will ever say it is social service. It is pure joy and connection which makes you do it. And ideology is different and adoption is different. Social service will be when you adopt lot of kids and help them. Not one or two kids. And also it is purely personal choice.

And Little Po is the only kid who had angst about his birth parents when he grew up. Specially in part 2. But what he never had any misgivings about was - how much his goose dad loved him. The wolf mom took Mowgli in - but the goose dad got him in a turnip basket with all the turnip eaten up !! 😉😆 and yet the goose dad took the very best care that he could.

That is why I think currently the way the Cv's are showing this as Anandi on a mission to collect mahanta certificates - the kid is not going to get a "MOM" mom - but a graceful, smiling social worker - who will "bestow" her kindness and smiles on the "poor orphan".

The kid may do worse at the shelter - but that is no reason to short change it a real set of parents for a moneyed life with prospects.

Even Bhairon provided Gauri blindly with the means for a better life and ensured she wud have the educational guidance of a trusted teacher. But he left her emotional upbringing to her useless parents and see what happened.

Gauri felt like she was a charity case. She did not feel she benefitted - she felt insulted instead.

Emotional support and confidence building is not something you can just give a child - there has to exist a certain level of trust and faith that will make a kid want to tell you his deepest darkest fears and wishes without fear of judgement or ridicule.

But the way CV's love to sing Anandi's praises - maybe the kid too will thank DeviMa everyday for giving her Anandi jaisi MAA 😉
