Take one: Hussain and Tina

After giving a power-packed performance in Nach Baliye 2, Hussain's (Sumit in Kumkum) wife Tina is all set to host a celebrity chat show, Life Ban Jaye, on Sony. Produced by Optimystix, the show will be on air soon.

Revealing more about the show, Tina says, "It's a weekly countdown show on film music. Besides, I will also be inviting celebrities and chatting with them. I accepted the show only because I knew the producers personally. Hussain had worked with them earlier and for me it will be like working with family. Hussain has played a significant role in convincing me to take up this project. When I received a call from Optimystix, I was not sure whether I would be selected but after the channel selected me, I agreed to do the show. The production house has been very supportive so far."

So how is the budding television anchor preparing for her very first show? "The production house has sent me a few sample scripts so that I can rehearse at home and brush up on my Hindi. I am sure it won't be easy interviewing actors, but I'll be fine once I start shooting regularly," says Tina.

"We are excited to have Tina with us for the show. And after the success of Nach Baliye 2, she seemed to be the best bet for us. We want to cash in on her girl-next-door image which is required for our show. We are looking forward to work with her from next week," says Vipul Shah, managing director, Optimystix.

MM guys need to get their facts right.. Anchoring a show does not qualify as "acting"! Every anchor is herself/himself on such shows.. Anyways..

Good luck to Tina for her new show.. I'm sure she'll do a great job, as usual! 😳 😳
