Firstly Dish, love you for this. I am really touched.

This Sanjeev Khandelwal reminds me of a TV cum Bollywood actor.

Is he going to pursue Khushi?

Would love to see a jealous Arnav.

He deserves to see Khushi moving on.

If he doesn't have the decency to call her in three years, why should she wait for him.

And the big event I was waiting for hasn't taken place yet.

Maybe in the next update.

Liked Payal. She and Aakash will make an interesting pair.

When do we get the next update?

A leap of three years, Khushi is 21, in college and the three musketeers seem to be still going strong. So happy for them and love the bond they share.

Yes life goes on, there are very few people in the real world who choose to live like Devdas or die like Juliet just because of a heartbreak. In real world, like you so beautifully put it, we just tuck our pain away in a hidden box of our heart and to put it colloquially, just suck it up.

Human spirit is resilient, much more resilient than it's given credit for.

Yes the pain remains in the background but it's sharp edges get blunter with time.

Your vivid descriptions of places always want me to visit them. Now I want to visit Chennai.😊

You are etching out the differences in personalities of the three friends very, very well.

That line about triggers that bring old memories back and catch us unaware was so touching and very true. Laburnum trees, Cadbury's, a pug on the street...if I as a reader feel so nostalgic after only reading about these, I can imagine what Khushi's state would be like.

She is still waiting for him, to call her, to try and get in touch with her again.

The aches of separation..:/

Can't wait for them to meet again..:/

Sanjeev seems to be a decent guy, a little narcissistic maybe (Reading the girls' faces to see who was a fan and who wasn't...Seriously! 😃) , but from a fan's point of view, his biggest fault is that he is not Arnav...hehe..😆

Amazing update, Sandy. Totally worth the wait..😊

I loved the relationship you showed between the three girls, it really gave us an insight into who they are as individuals.

I have to admit an update without Arnav usually leaves me restless but you managed to ease that restlessness by the shear memories of him through Khushi's flashbacks.

She is still hurting so much! It has been 3 years, she has not seen or spoken to him, but through his sister she probably knows exactly what he's been up too.

I don't know how I feel about her still hurting for him. She was only 18 when everything happened and now she's 21. She's living a pretty well rounded college life, why hasn't she moved on from the memory?

One more question, if he hasn't contacted her in 3 years why would she expect him to contact her just because he's back India? Why would she expect anything at all at this point?

I am looking forward to seeing how life has shaped Arnav in the last 3 years!

Three years have passed as Khushi is still pining over Arnav. It's surely difficult to get forget one's first love. After seeing Khushi's side I'm can't wait to see how the past three years have been for Arnav.

I'm glad that the three friends are still close. Anya, Khushi, and Pay the three musketeers :)
Loved the scene with the actor and just like Payal to be cautious. Even a handsome actor can't make Khushi forget. I'm glad that even thought it has affected her personally she has not let it hinder her studies and career aspirations.

So many questions and possibilities and am looking forward to seeing which way the story goes..

lovely lovely chapter...

leap of 3 yrs, i loved it, so that we can enjoy the energetic, stubbornness ,temper, everything in future updates, because of the age.So kushi anya and payal are 21 now...and soon they r going to finish bachelors degree...liked their bonding, and i love anya thinking about her 2 friends practical palpal,and emotional kkg...

kushi wants to move on but still her thoughts and memories are holding with arnav, liked the way she is thinking bout bitter and sweet memories of her and arnav, first love can not forget that fast that girl like kushi...

can not wait for the next chapter sandya, the chapter is not slow, it shows the grown up personalities of the characters...

wondering what arnav is thinking one thing for sure he can not for get kushi...

Khushi's condition is like me. Ok severe than me!! She can't forget Arnav and I can't forget IPKKND. The whole wide world reminds me something IPK related, even our bollywood movies. 😔 🤢
Payal is very practical and strict. she surely needs to meet Akash to learn how to chill. 😆
All these years Arnav-Khushi haven't talked and met but the ache, burn, desire, hurt is very much there like it all happened just yesterday. And what makes it more difficult is she will get information from him time to time, Anya being her best friend and his sister. She can't avoid that and can't even share her problem.
Arnav is now back in the country and Khushi has started picturising him standing at the door with his signature lop sided smirk! How long it will take before they meet each other? May be not that long!!😉😳

Welcome back, DND!!! And what a welcome back! First things first - might I say that I think Sanjeev Khandelwal is very clever - the character and his name I mean. Is the rhyming with another soap star turned TV actor turned TV show host coincidence? (Aamir, Sach ka Saamna and a K serial I don't remember the title of?)

He also sounds rather clever - this time literally. Wasted no time in asking her out for a coffee and made sure to include her friends so that she would come :D Ah nice. But like Khushi here, we seem to be waiting for that someone too - the one who has been in India for 6 months (!!!) and hasn't contacted - though I am not surprised. Self preservation is a tricky thing.

3 years, 1095 days, 26280 hours - so they've grown up. 21? Slightly better than 18 but still nowhere near where it should be to be able to think of first loves and first heartbreaks with more spunk than hurt?

Bring it on. Noon is here and I'm loving it!

PS: Hello, Payal. I like her. Too staid...but hey who I am to say that ;)
