I wish the CVs would stop trying to draw parallels between AsYas situation and Rashid and Dilshads. Yes, Zoya got married to Ayaan against her will and same kind of happened to Rashid but Rashid stayed with Shireen more than 20 years and had children with her and shared a proper husband and wife relationship with her. Ayaan and Zoya never shared a husband and wife relationship and they knew from the start that she'd go back to Asad.
Asad and Zoya hugging and being together whilst she was married to Ayaan and planning to be together didn't seem wrong because Ayaan and Zoya were on the same page and nobody was getting hurt. The marriage was fake and there were no feelings there.
Zoya was justified in leaving Ayaan and going back to Asad because her and Ayaan didn't share any kind of relationship except friendship, she didn't stay with him for years and have children with him. Rashid and Zoyas situation is completely different and I wish the show would stop trying to make us feel sympathetic towards him by drawing parallels between their situation and AsYas.
If Zoya had a proper relationship with Ayaan and had children with him and stayed with him for years then I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted her and Asad to get back together but since the marriage was fake and there was nothing there and all parties involved knew the truth, it was okay but Dilshad and Rashids situation is completely different and I don't know how they'd have him leaving Shireen and his kids and going back to Dilshad seem okay because its not. He had a proper marriage with Shireen, no matter what his feelings it was a proper marriage and you can't sweep that under the carpet just because you've finally realised that you still have feelings for your first wife and want her back. Hes in too deep to just turn around and say I want to spend the rest of my life with my first wife.
