ST: You have a rather strong image on television. Considering the cutthroat nature of this business, have you ever got into catfights with anyone?
SS: Actually, I have been lucky in that sense. All my co-stars have been very good to me. I am still in touch with my Kittie Party gang. Even in Left Right Left, I get along very well with my co-actor Aparna Tilak. I don't put my nose into other people's business so I guess there's no reason for any problems.
ST: What about your experiences with the casting couch?
SS: Personally, I haven't come across it. But I feel it exists everywhere; not just in the TV industry but also in the corporate world.
ST: When was the last time you made a pass at someone?
SS: I don't make passes at anyone. Why should I?

ST: Do you see yourself in a purely physical relationship?
SS: No, I don't think so. I am a very committed and attached person. May be when one is single, one can have a different opinion.
ST: Do you believe our society has double standards when it comes to sex and morality?
SS: Our society is hypocritical. There is a great distinction between man and woman.
ST: Does being sought after by men excite you?
SS: It always feels good to be appreciated. It gives me a great high. I keep getting lots of mail and I try sending replies to them too.
ST: You think we attach too much importance to issues like pre-marital sex and virginity?
SS: Our society is full of hypocrites. If a guy is hitting on five girls, he is considered macho. But I would call him someone with a loose character.
ST: Do you think men like women who are dominating in bed or would it hurt their male egos?
SS: I think men in our society are given a huge standing. They have a superiority complex and bigger egos, which get crushed so easily. Men would never like to be dominated by women. It would kill them.
ST: Would you take back a man who has strayed in a relationship, if he regretted his actions later?
SS: Off hand, I would say no. If he is really sorry then I would give it a thought. It depends on how much I need him back. Like my character, Tina in Kittie Party, who leaves her cheating husband and moves out and lives on her own. It depends on an individual's emotions and state of mind.
ST: They say that world moves ahead on money and sex? True?
SS: The world definitely moves with money. Money is important, as all countries need to have a strong economy. I don't know about sex. Sex will only make the world overpopulated (laughs).
ST: What would you do if a woman made a pass at you?
SS: That's all right. If a woman finds me hot and gives a compliment, I am fine with it. Ditto for a male too. I would take it nicely and say thank you.😳😳😳
