SLB movies were good prior to sawariya...from sawariya onwrds, his movies are more of the art genre than those which portrays traditional values whereas SB ones are the typical indian family melodramas with their culture and rituals blended in ...

I know, but people will obviously say how 'vulgar' slb has become so he can't possibly make movies for Indian culture or for family, they will bring ramleela into it. I just want people to stop saying ramleela is vulgar, but I know that won't happen.

Suraj Barajatya, any day!
But he also exaggerates the goodness of people in his films...what he shows is not the reality of Indian Society anymore...rather the ideal picture of what it would be, if everyone was as good as his characters!
No issues with that...sometimes, its really gratifying and nice to see a film which is not cynical or bitter or negative...rather presents everything with rose-tinted glasses! That is what a bollywood movie is supposed to be..an escape route!
SLB's films are more like tourist brochures representing India in its most colorful, vibrant and dramatic best! Uski apni charm hai!
