Parineeti Chopra & Shraddha Kapoor to follow Khans - Salman, Shahr

Though Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor are competitors no less, there is a lot common between them as well. No, it isn't just Aditya Roy Kapur whose name has been connected to both in the recent past. Instead, it is their love for singing which is bringing in commonality as well.

"Though both girls are really enjoying some great times in Bollywood, what with Shraddha's AASHIQUI 2 staying on to be the biggest surprise of the year and Parineeti continuing to be consistent with SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE and ISHAQZAADE bringing her accolades, not many know that both of them are also trained singers. They have an ear for good music," informs a source.

Incidentally, neither Parineeti Chopra nor Shraddha Kapoor has sung for a film yet since both have been concentrating primarily on their acting career. As a matter of fact, even though Shraddha played a singer (Aarohi) in AASHIQUI 2, she didn't have a song to her credit.

"Shraddha isn't vying for that either though she doesn't wish to miss out her on her 'riyaaz'," says a friend of the actress, "She has been missing her singing lessons and wants to get back to them."

One wonders though when would the two girls indeed find time for that, considering the fact that Shraddha has just been signed up for Akshay Kumar's GABBAR and would also be occupied shooting for THE VILLAIN with Sidharth Malhotra and HAIDER with Shahid Kapoor.

On the other hand even though Parineeti Chopra is almost through shooting for HASEE TOH PHASEE, she would soon be beginning shoot for KILL DIL with Ranveer Singh and DAAWAT-E-ISHQ with Aditya Roy Kapur very soon.

"Well, Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir were busy too when they sang a song each in JOSH, HELLO BROTHER and GHULAM respectively," quips a source, "They were not even trained singers and still their songs were hits. It is just a matter of coming behind the mike for Parineeti and Shraddha. If they bring themselves to the task, they can make it happen."

We would be excited to see that.
