BW actors - A complete lack of variety

You could probably count them on your fingers, maybe fingers and toes, but the point being is that Bollywood has such a lack of actors, we see the same ghisse pitte faces repeatedly.

First you've got the leftover monkeys from the paleolithic era (the Khans, Uglay Devgan, Akshay etc), then you have your Shahid, Ranbir, Emraan, Imran, somehow trying to stay afloat eagerly waiting for the demise of the chimps, then you have Hrithik, who isn't from the KhanGan Kumar era, nor does he quite belong to the latter group of neanderthals.

Now you have your have your newcomers, Varun Dhawan, Sid, Ranveer, ARK etc

From the girls, you've got Katrina, Kareena, Priyanka, Deepika, Vidya, and your handful of B-grade actresses.

That pretty much sums up Bollywood, what a dearth of choice.

You are right we do need some kind of novelty.. its really getting boring fighting for the same lot always 😆

i don't know how actors can be blamed when the content in bollywood itself lacks variety. its not that every actor or actress produces his/her films, they are being taken by producers and directors for their shitty scripts.

And what makes it even more boring is that they insist on doing the same types of roles/films as each other, and things they have already done before... I sometimes wonder if these actors would know their films from another actor's. 😆

Is it weird to only be looking forward to the newbies films? At least those faces aren't as been there done that...😆

I blame it majorly on neoptism. You close the doors of a house and dont let anyone in easily so obviously there wont be variety. That way television is better with large number of actors though content there is bad too.

Newbies are ugly, arrogant, opportunists. Their PRs are annoying: They compare new pile of dung with the old pile. I don't want any variety. Old desiccated piles smell less: We can live happily ever after with all of them.

No offense but you just named 18 different people
