It became hit because of SRK's desperate attitude. He seriously needed one big hit as his last few films were on sinking ships. I bet, if it werent for Deepika, the film would never cross 150 crs. I have watched the film and I vow never to watch it again.

Because of Rohit Shetty, he knows how to create a prefect family entertainers otherwise srk has been part of some really pathetic films like Ra one and JTHJ recently that did almost half of the business of CE. And then credit for opening and weekend business must go to SRK, because of his super stardom.

Always credit for opening business must go to the superstar later to sustain the business(WOM) that should be given to the director
