To be honest, the film was declared a huge hit ONLY because of SRK (Aryan's father 😛)

But lets admit it, the character Meenamma was praised by everyone including me, no matter how much you criticize her tamil accent in the movie 😛 I also personally loved the actress more than SRK for the first time in any SRK movie 😛

I am pretty sure it was the combination of SRK-DP-Rohit Shetty+complete family entertainer & Lungi Dance!
But I'll give a lil more credit to SRK & his starpower & cause of my bias for SRK! 😳

Btw someone here said SRK's previous films were sinking ships?! W*F! All his last 3 films were above 100 crore hits n grossed over 200 crores worldwide despite being critically panned barring Don 2 & STILL those were sinking ships?! & CEmade 226 crores in india due to DPad & Rajnikant's POSTER?! I really like DPad & Rajni sir a lot but THIS surely gotta be some kind of joke! 🤣

Aamir's talaash did 90 crore business after the humongous 202 crore business of 3I so can we say aamir is a sinking ship like SRK? (Dont gimme genre crap cos even JTHJ was different genre compared to CE & did better business) SRK fi ally did a masala movie which is the flavour of the season & sabki chutti kardi usne with CE! Proves who the REAL star is 😎

Gotta give credit to the marketing & promotions of the film too! SRK was literally everywhere promoting the film & increasing its buzz. They should make this a case study for B-schools & us business students.
