When Kids Become Parents... Nov 4

A lot has been written and analyzed about today's "mohabbat ki jeet' episode, so I won't go into the details.

Asad and Zoya pretty much reviewed the essence of this whole episode and mohabbat ki jeet' track with their words and actions.

In life, we grow up assuming that our parents, seniors, religious leaders and teachers know best and are our well-wishers. To a large extent this is true, but as a parent and a professional who works with kids, I can say that I have learnt a lot more from my kids than I ever thought I would.

Today, Asad and Zoya, representatives of the younger generation did the same. They gave a lesson of life to their parents, seniors, religious leaders and contemporaries.

Will these seniors and leaders learn from AsYa's words and actions or will they take it as an insult to their inflated sense of ego?

Ghafoor: Yes, he heard it from Zoya. How her abbu left her ammi after nikaah and never honored those vows. So, if Ghafoor actually loved Zainab, did he do the right thing 20 years ago? Will he admit to it? Will he try to make amends and at least make an effort to find his daughter? I doubt it as this man has a very big ego and no matter, how guilty he feels, he will focus on the daag on his supposedly clean daman' rather than wash that daagdaar daman' that he has managed to secretly hide from the world.

Rashid: Will he consider the actions of his son a wake-up call? Will he be proud of what his son did today? Will he try to make amends with his first family? Will he try to come out of the shackles of Razia's conspiracies and at least try to clear his name? Let's see if his son has taught him a lesson or not.

Shireen: Unfortunately, she will never learn- whether it's from life, her kids or her well-wishers. Expecting her to make amends is futile.

Razia: She was elated to see Zoya leave but didn't you all see her expression when Zoya talked about her abbu and ammi? Well, she doesn't have a decent cell in her body so I doubt she will change right away. Her weakness is Humeira- her youngest daughter. One day, if Humeira is in grave danger and what if Zoya is the only one who can save her, will she change then? I am not counting on it.

Badi Bi: Badi bi is definitely the biggest well-wisher of Zoya. After Ayaan, she seems to have fallen head over heels in love with Zoya. I am glad she insisted on Zoya stating her wishes before making such a big decision. Why didn't she do that the day Asad was forcing her to sign the nikaahnaama? Perhaps, having lived with Zoya has made her appreciate the person Zoya is. This also tells me that if Asad spends enough time with her, will she have the same attitude towards him as she has with Ayaan? Can badi bi move to Asad's house for some time?

Humeira and Ayaan: A big lesson for these youngsters who claim they are in love. Humeira, of course is very sure but hopefully, Ayaan will learn a big lesson from his bhaijaan and bhaijaan's amaanat after this showdown. He still hasn't said anything to his family. Hope he does that soon. His bhaijaan and bhabhi were a misaal' for him and hope he will develop that kind of courage when he realizes the depth of his love for Humeira.

Also, wanted to applaud Gul for busting some myths today:

  1. Women in Islam can't be forced into a nikaah
  2. Molvis are not always right
  3. Parents and grandparents are not always our well wishers
  4. Diwali and Eid can be celebrated across communities and just because Dilshaad is lighting a diya, doesn't make her less of a Muslim.
  5. Asad, the perfectionist, the man with OCD can have a ponytail as a sign of rebelling against the society.
  6. Nikaah is a union of hearts, not a piece of paper.
  7. People change their beliefs with time- Zoya did, so why can't we all?
  8. We make our own destinies...not someone else

Enjoy...hope we have a heart to heart chat between AsYa before the song tomorrow.

Great post as usual!!👏
I was so happy after today's episode, it gave me goose bumps.. Tod-Fod AsYalicious episode😳

I liked this scene so much that I am ready to forget one month of Zoyaan torture... I always wanted this scene but thought it would come after Abbu track and AsYa will walk out hand in hand in front of all but I also like this one.. Till now Gafoor does not know that she is his daughter and now I can imagine how this scene will haunt him once he will knw that Zoya is his daughter.. His own daughter moved out with his enemy in front of him and he could not do anything.. I am feeling somehow, Gafoor is going to redeem and he will have to suffer a lot... Cv's should show Gafoor missing his daughter and Zoya's words affected him somewhere, now...

I really started watching QH for its story but because of Zoyaan track I had given up hopes on story and just watched for AsYa-AyRa but now Rashid's health issues are giving me ray of hope on story too...

So overall, my verdict is its getting on right path now..

This 'mohabbat ki jeet' episode had some quite powerful dialogues and actions.

Our Sher Khan was in a no-nonsense mood. The way he stood face to face with Ghafoor Siddiqui, the way he talked to the maulvi and to Rashid, it was all in attitude. And why not?! Like he said, his patience has been tested and its enough now. That was part one of the mohabbt ki jeet.

Part two is where Zoya speaks up. How she, very beautifully, explains what she went through. How her childhood was, what she has missed in her life, what she yearns for and what she believed.
Yes believed...those thoughts and thinking were way back before a certain Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan walked into her life and made her realize that love is the purest and strongest feelings of all...

She chose her mohabbat. He took her hand and they walked toward the right path.
Bas, that is all what is needed to take that U-turn when muqaddar pushes you into the wrong direction.

Yes, Rashid is very much repenting now why he did not the same years ago. Is he proud of his son? His expression said it all...

Good to see that Diwali is also being 'celebrated' in QH. However, I really wished they had celebrated Eid-al-Adha too since that is also a very important festive for Muslims.
But, let's not discuss this any further, because I do not want start a 'fight' between two religions.

Again, I would say it was a pretty good episode. Good acting and even better dialogues.
The best part of it is...YOUR post 😊
Thanks Di 😳

I know Asad and Zoya are fictional so this is gonna sound strange but today I was reminded why this is the only couple I have ever genuinely been emotionally attached to and love! I felt so PROUD of them both! They showed their middle finger to muqaddar today :D

That one month of torturous crap was kinda worth it for this episode. My babies rocked it today and how!

Cannot thank Gul Khan and her team enough.

Love your post Sangeeta! :)

P.S. You still think Ayaan will fall for Zoe? 😆

Thanks Tanvi. Yes, another myth busted by Gul...mohabbat over muqaddar!

Right now I don't see signs of ayaan falling for zoya but the fact he is so rude to Humeira makes me think he doesn't really care for Humeira as much- esp given her medical issues. Let's see what happens after Zoya leaves..😉

Have you seen the spoiler of AyRa reconciling? It's a ZA one and they're always legit 😆

I suck at symbolisms but when AsYa held hands today and it showed Ayaan smiling in the background it didn't give me Ayaan-will-fall-for-his-Bhabhi vibes 😆

Copy pasting from my post-

I liked today's episode! Asad's dialogue were amazing, so was Zoya's reaction!👏
I was laughing at Gaffur when he tried to blame Asad looking at the reporters...🤣
and Asad's reaction (about Humaira)! LMAO!
Loved it that Asad has evolved so much as a character! His dialogues today! MA!
Hated it that Zoya continued looking back at Ayan...😡
Loved it that Ayan was magnified smiling down at AsYa's interwined hands! 😃
Loved it that Dilshad is back! 🤗
Loved it that KV is back!
I love it that AsYa are back! 🥳

PS- I still hate Dadi!😡
Where was she with her epic dialogue when Zoya was practically forced to marry the brother of her lover, to save Dadi's grand daughter's life?
Wasn't Zoya's decision important then?😡
Selfish SM!😡

Of course this is not the end of problems for them! This is only the beginning. 😭
They still have many more hurdles to pass to be together...💔
...but one thing will never change...

❤️😃 AsYa are soulmates!!!!😃❤️

Here's looking forward to a painful yet beautiful(and logical) journey of AsYa!!😃👍🏼😎

Love conquers all❤️, from beauty to beast🤗...from fate to reality!😳
It is the biggest weapon, the strongest power and the toughest(and most cherished) journey!👍🏼

Precap...☺️

Great post as usual. I agree with you we can learn a lot from our kids. What you said about Gaffur is absolutely true, he cares more about his Izzat than anything else. I wonder whatever happened today, how it will effect AsYa's future once Gaffur's truth comes out. Raashid, Shireen, and Razia can never change. I am waiting for a day when Raashid is going to stand up for his kids. Badi bi, I still don't like her. I wouldn't want her to move to KV. Also, I felt even today, she really wished zoya would agree to stay back and not go with Asad. I still don't see her as AsYa's well wisher.

Okay enough ranting from me...thanks for a great post again

Asad and Zoya pretty much reviewed the essence of this whole episode and mohabbat ki jeet' track with their words and actions.

Loved their confession in front of the whole family, maulvi and the media people...

In life, we grow up assuming that our parents, seniors, religious leaders and teachers know best and are our well-wishers. To a large extent this is true, but as a parent and a professional who works with kids, I can say that I have learnt a lot more from my kids than I ever thought I would.

Agree... As a mother, I too have learnt and still learning a lot of things from my kid...

Today, Asad and Zoya, representatives of the younger generation did the same. They gave a lesson of life to their parents, seniors, religious leaders and contemporaries.

A lesson, which was loud and clear, but unfortunately, people will not learn anything from it, but accuse and curse them for bringing shame to the family...

Will these seniors and leaders learn from AsYa's words and actions or will they take it as an insult to their inflated sense of ego?

No, they'll not learn anything from it, but label AsYa as shameless and rebel and what not...

When Zoya was telling about her parents, Ghafoor's expressions were like he was reminiscing Zainab and their daughter... But when the time will come, he'll choose to appear as a righteous man in front of the society and will try hiding his relationship with Zoya... Today, I got a feeling that Ghafoor will be the first to find out his relationship with Zoya... Also, it was a beginning of Asad Vs. Ghafoor...

Rashid: Will he consider the actions of his son a wake-up call? Will he be proud of what his son did today? Will he try to make amends with his first family? Will he try to come out of the shackles of Razia's conspiracies and at least try to clear his name? Let's see if his son has taught him a lesson or not.

Rashid accepted and praised Asad's action, but most probably, he'll not make any amends to his first family or try coming out of Razia's chain of conspiracies, at least not so soon... He'll choose to crib about his misfortunes and give in to Razia's shenanigans...

Shireen: Unfortunately, she will never learn- whether it's from life, her kids or her well-wishers. Expecting her to make amends is futile.

No hopes with Shireen... She'll remain as dumb and selfish as before... Like Dilshad said during their confrontation in the Walima... She'll never come out of the web of Razia's conspiracies and manipulation...

Razia lives for herself and she uses other's for her own benefits... Yes, she loves Humeira and she is the only one who can teach anything to Razia... No one else really matters to her... She praises Asad because he was making her life easy by taking Zoya away... But she'll not stop herself from poisoning Shireen's mind against Asad, Zoya and Dilshad, even after this...

Badi Bi loves Asad and she admires Zoya for what she is... If given a chance to spend time with Asad, she'll surely bond well with him and understand him more... Asad too has respect for her... He was shutting everyone up today but chose to answer or rather explain to Badi Bi only... Would love to see her staying at KV for sometime...

AsYa sets an awesome example of the power of love in front of AyRa and sooner or later, they'll eventually learn from it... Humeira needs to learn to trust Ayaan and his actions more and Ayaan needs to understand and respect Humeira's feelings more, just like AsYa... Zoya trusts Asad and his actions and that's the reason she stayed in SM and did what she did... And Asad understands Zoya's feelings that she is suffering in all this and respects her feelings too, that's the reason, he barged into SM and took her away in front of the whole society and family...

Agree... It was a nice message from Gul and the CVs...

Enjoy...hope we have a heart to heart chat between AsYa before the song tomorrow.

I don't mind, if they decide to talk after the song sequence too, if they choose to spend some quality time together or celebrate Diwali first... But, I definitely want them to have a heart to heart conversation and realize their mistakes, rather than just start romancing again and committing the same mistakes in future...

Brilliantly written Sangeeta... I loved the episode and your post too... 😃

P.S.- Happy Diwali Sangeeta!!! Hope you had a nice time...😊
