The episode starts of with Barkha calling out to everyone to call the doctor as Nikhil's temperature has increased. Nani leaves Laajo at the dining table and taunts her about the green chilies. The doctor after the check-up tells them not to worry and also that if the fever doesn't reduce in two days Nikhil will have to be admitted in the hospital. Everyone leaves the room, Laajo questions Ishaana about Nikhil's health but she ignores her and closes the door on her face.
Laajo then inquires from Chayya who tells her everything. Laajo feels frustrated as she cant do anything to g=help as no one is letting her speak or see Nikhil. She says that if this was the village she would have given him some herbal medicine.
Ishaana goes to her room and also ignores her mom's questioning. While packing her bag with clothes she tells her mom that she is going to Nikhil's house as he needs her. Her mom refuses and says that there are other people to take care of him and she cant she her daughter in pain. Ishaana doesn't like it but her mom doesn't let her go there.
In the night, Laajo sneaks quietly into Nikhil's room after she sees Shyla sleeping. She says that it is a good sign that Nikhil is sweating and takes care of him. She sleeps on the floor besides him while holding his hand. ( Man Bawra plays in the background). The next morning, Nikhil wakes up Laajo and asks her what was the need to stay here the whole night. Before Shyla could shout at Laajo again he sends her to get tea for the both of them. Nikhil doesn't think that Laajo can make his style of tea, to which she claims that without milk and sugar tea has no taste and she cant drink black tea. They both share a cute moment while talking about tea.
At the same moment Ishaana enters the room and is surprised to see Laajo there, Nikhil tries to break the ice and introduces Ishaana to Laajo. Laajo remarks that she knows Ishaana and hands her the cup of tea which she was going to drink and immediately leaves the room. Ishaana says that she is sorry for disturbing his time while he was drinking tea with his wife and further states that her mom was right she has no work here and leaves.
Inder enters the room and inquires about Nikhil's health and the accident. He wanted to know what exactly happened, Nikhil doesn't tell him the whole truth. Inder asks why was he driving so rashly at night, Nikihil finally tells him that he was busy on the phone and was trying the call Ishaana. Inder is upset and says that nowadays many accidents are due to phones and not alcohol. Also he says that Nikhil should understand that marrying Laajo was his decision then why is Ishaana still there in his life.
After Inder leaves, Nikhil throws the phone angrily and saya to himself that it is his life and fir him ishaana is very important. He also says that since Laajo doesn't have a problem with any of this why should the other bother. In the village Saraswati forces RamBachan to call Laajo, at the same time Barkha as well as Laajo are approaching the landline.
Precap- Laajo is putting some leaves on Nikhil's head, shyla angrily holds her hand.
