Diwali Special - KriYansh OS

"He's of no use. Kuch kaam hi nahi karta hai. Diwali aa rahi h aur isse dekho. Aalsiyon ki tarah TV ke saamne baithke cricket match dekh raha h. mann toh kar raha abhi jake ek bajaun. Huh! Main itni der se yaha pe lights lagane ki koshish kar rahi hun aur yeh h ki. Main toh isse baat hi nahi karungi. Dekhe ye apna match!" thought Kria.

"REEEYYY, kya tum please aake meri help kar sakte ho" shouted kria on the top of her voice from the terrace.

"haan, abhi 2 min" rey shouted back.

"This is the last time I am calling him, agar who nahi aaya toh main na hi us se baat karungi, na khaana banaugi aur poore din doosre kamre me baith ke serials dekhungi. Phir use pata chalega kaisa lagta h! har baar 2 min keh ke baat taal deta h" once again kria started talking to herself.

From the past one hour, she is trying to put the lights outside her house, so that their home sweet home would look beautiful and goddess Lakshmi would come and shower her blessings over them. But her dear hubby, Rey is not at all interested in all this. Yesterday also she had done all the cleaning and he was just sitting in the office, attending the foreign clients. Sometimes she just wants to murder the foreign clients because they don't know when and at what time to arrive. They just work according to themselves.

"Finally" she said " I've done it and that too without the help of that devil!"

She got down from the stool she was standing on and went inside the house. She went to the kitchen and started preparing for the evening pooja of lord Ganesha and goddess Lakshmi. After finishing her work in the kitchen she went to their bedroom and started getting ready. She chose a beautiful red saree and went inside the bathroom to have a hot water bath. Coming out of the bathroom she started draping the saree. She indeed was looking very beautiful. She took out matching pair of earrings, put on a bindi and a thin line of sindoor. She applied a beautiful shade of lipstick on her cute lips and was finally ready for the festival.

She again came downstairs and saw that the match was just ending.

She thought "Finally, ab mere liye kuch time hoga inke paas". She sighed and made her way towards the TV. She took the remote from the couch and switched off the TV and started moving away.

"what was that kria?" Saying this he again switched on the TV

"The nerve of this guy" she thought "hey, universe ji, aapko mujhe aisa pati hi kyun dena tha? Main itna taiyaar ho ke aayi aur inhone mujhe dekha bhi nahi! Inko toh sirf apni match ki padi h. kuch toh karo na. please universe ji! Please!"

She was pleading with her eyes closed and was looking upwards. (just as the scene when the dazzlers put a basketball infront of kria and she's talking to her universe ji)

Finally the match got over and rey got up from the couch and went to the kitchen. When he came out he saw Kria, n he was left speechless. She was collecting things for the pooja and he was just standing there, gawking at her.

"Stunning" he muttered but kria heard it as she was not that far away but she chose to ignore as she was very angry. She continued her work.

"Kria, you are looking beautiful" rey complimented.

As kria was standing facing her back towards Rey, she blushed a little but didn't say anything. She then went to another place and started doing some work. Rey was continuously trying to talk to her but she was plainly ignoring him. She looked at the time. Took out a paper and a pen and scribbled something on it and handed it over to rey with a straight face, showing no emotions. He took the paper and it read -

Pooja ka time ho gaya h. agar aapko aana h toh aa jayiye wanra baith ka apna match dekhiye.

After reading this he understood why his dear wifey was angry and why she was not talking to him. He remembered how many times she had called him while he was busy watching his damn match. He felt really guilty for not listening to her. He now realized the feeling of being ignored. He decided to do something to manaofy Kria but first decided to go and attend the pooja. He joined Kria and soon they finished the pooja and went to light the diyas.

Both got up and rey tried talking to Kria.

"Kria, main soch raha thaa ... " but before he could complete she moved away to the kitchen to bring the dinner.

Rey thought "hey universe ji, aapne kaisi mushkil me daal diya hai mujhe. Ab main kaise manaun apni pyaari si wife ko. Aap hi kuch batao"

He then went to the dining table and saw that Kria had served the food in his plate and had already started eating hers. He had now guessed, that it would not be easy task to make it up to her. He with a baby face walked to table, sat and started eating.

Soon after finishing the food, he took his as well as her plate and put them into the sink. He then normally walked towards their room, pretending as if nothing had happened.

Kria cleaned up and the she also went to the room. As soon as she reached their room, she took her nightwear and entered the bathroom to change. She came out and lied on her side of the bed, pulled up the blanket, switched of the lights and pretended to sleep.

But rey was smart enough to guess that she wasn't actually sleeping and was just acting to do so. He, with a mischievous smile on his face, switched off the remaining lights and lied just beside her. Is one hand was now around her waist. But she didn't react. So he concluded that she must have slept and without disturbing her, he also slept in the same position. He kissed her forehead once and drifted to sleep.

NEXT MORNING

Kria woke up but didn't find rey by her side. She looked around the room to find him but he was not there. She then noticed a small note kept beside the bed on the small table. She picked it up and read it

Kria,

I'm really sorry for leaving this early. I had a very important meeting. It'll be late when I come back.

Love,

Rey

Kria thought "ab toh main inse zindagi me kabhi bhi baat nahi karungi. Kitne bure hain. Pata bhi nahi chala ki main gussa hun aur dekho subah subah hi office chale gaye. I hate him!"

Rey, all this while was standing outside the window and seeing his baatcutter's cute expressions. He had planned a beautiful surprise for her. He just prayed to her universe ji to do things according to his plans.

IN THE EVENING

Door bell rang and kria went to open the door but when she did, she found no one there. She looked down and found a beautiful gift. She picked it up and turned it around to find out who is the sender. She had already guessed that it must be rey but was confirmed when she say the handwriting.

She went inside and opened the gift box. And then what she saw was left her completely speechless.

There was a note inside the box.

Be ready at 8. I'll come to pick you up love.

She blushed a little reading this note.

She was already ready by 7:45. She was hell nervous. She herself didn't know why but she was. After 10 minutes the doorbell rang and she took her purse and rushed downstairs. She was expecting rey to be there but instead she saw someone else. That person handed her a blindfold and asked her to tie is around her eyes. She did so and then she could feel someone hand around her waist and his other hand holding her hand. She immediately guessed that it was rey. she smiled a little. He made her sit in the car and then got seated in the drivers seat. After a lot of driving, they reached a place. Rey helped kria get down the car. He then led her to the entrance of the place. He opened the blind fold. As soon as kria saw the place, tears dwelled up in her eyes. She was just so happy. She jus couldn't believe that rey had done this much for her. This was the same place where thay had been married, 8 months ago. It was decorated just it was at that time. She was overwhelmed. She loved it beyond limits. She turned back to see rey on his knees.

"Please forgive me kria, yesterday I completely ignored you and the rituals of the festivals because of that stupid match but I swear I didn't do it intentionally. After you started ignoring me, I realized that how it feels to be ignored by the person you love. I'm really sorry." After a pause "I love, will you be mine again?"

Kria was very happy with the way how rey asked forgiveness. She just held his shoulders and asked him to stand up and then engulfed him in a tight bear hug. She was extremely happy.

"Obviously yes dumbo and yaa, you're already forgiven. I love you"

With this rey pulled back and slowly they kissed. After breaking apart they went in for the dinner and returned home with happy faces.

I know it was totally lame and moreover it came out to be crap. nothing similar to what i thought but still posted it because didn't have the energy to write another one. sorry for the disappointment. I'll try my best next time. till then jutas and chappal allowed. 😆
