Sandhya gave away her wedding jewellery. But for that today she got back something priceless. Her father's pen. The very same pen Arvind Kothari had left behind for his daughter. The very same pen Bhabo took away from her in the name of parivaar. That pen in Sandhya's hand on the day of the competitive exam is the biggest confidence booster she can get. Not only Bhabo's ashirvaad went with her, but her late father's memory and ashirvaad did come back to her.
I dont know how many agree with me. Life after IPS maybe tough for Sandhya with AD pe AD. But on the day of the exam she has gone with the most positive frame of mind. Blessed by her in laws, having her late father's ashirvaad and the best of luck of entire family along with the fact that her husband taking her for the exam. You cannot ask for something better.
As a person who has taken the exam I know how important the frame of mind on that day matters. When your entire family is blessing you, wishing you and praying for you the mental strength you get is something different. The way Sandhya went for the exam reminded me of the day I wrote Kerala state Entrance. My dad taking me to the nearby Ganesha Temple, Vishnu Temple and Parvathi Temple. My mom making sure my breakfast is ready. My aunts, uncles calling and wishing me. Then my youngest uncle taking me to the exam venue. I still remember the " Go get it "sign he gave me when he dropped me at the exam venue. Yes that positive frame of mind did help me a lot.
I would say CVs did a very nice job sending Sandhya for the UPSC exam. She didnt go with any drama, but from a very positive environment.
