Episode starts with Gaya nagging and mocking Prakash for his job suspension. Prakash says he did not loose his job but only got suspended..Gaya points its a black mark for his job and gives him money to drink with his friends. Prakash feeling insulted rejects the money, tells Gaya that he will cancel the suspension order and will join back immediatly and marches off with anger.

Back at Sathiya's place, Sathiya and Shampoo discuss how much Dharani has changed and is more responsible. Then the land lady and her son Ashok (one of Prakash friends) come to apologise for asking them to leave the house. Sathiya says she has no hard feeling and envys their friendship. After they leave, Shampoo reminds Sathiya to tell Deveraj about Dharani's wedding to Prakash. She calls and informs him and tells him they do not have the money to marry off Dharani and will only be holding the simple wedding after 6 months thus Suresh wedding will also be postponed. Deveraj says he is happy for Dharani and does not mind to wait 6 months. Saroja overhears Deveraj and Sathiya's conversation and is not happy Suresh wedding will be postponed.

Suresh goes to Aagaambaram and MLA to help him cancel the suspension order. However due to the election period the MLA refuses to help Suresh and advises him to be careful . Suresh irritated leaves the MLA place telling Aagabaram this is his problem and he will find a way to cancel his suspension. Prakash ignores Aagambaram's advice to stay cool.

Back at Karthik office, Annapoorani comes to office and meets Sathiya. She says she is glad Sathiya is talking to her and her son Karthik and is happy she is working here. Then the office staff comes in and tells Sathiya the canteen is very noisy. Anapoorani returns to her office room and discuss with Karthik about Sathiya's change in character. Karthik tells his mom he too is happy and is waiting for the right time to tell Sathiya he likes her.

Saroja comes in to the office, and insults Sathiya infront of everyone. Sathiya is speechless and says they need 6 months to save up for Dharani's wedding. Saroja making alot of noice warns Sathiya that she cant wait 6 months and as quick as possible Dharani should be married. Enters Kathik, Saroja calms down and eelikaran (smile at rich people) and tells Karthik her problrm and leaves.Sathiya very upset sits down on her chair in deep thoughts. Annaporani watches this and ask Karthik what problem Sathiya is having, in which Karthik tells her about Dharani and Suresh story.

Annapoorani goes to Saroja's house and Deveraj knowing who she is welcomes her in and tells Saroja she is Karthik's mom. Saroja very happy welcomes her, smiling..
