VAADA. Ansh Fiction

The scene outside the court room after Singhs accepted Jagya. Singhs see Shekars coming towards them with heads bowed down. Ira stands first and folds her hand with her head hung down in shame followed by all the others.

Ira says hume hamari galthi aur bhool ke liye maaf kar dijiye. Mujhe pata hai jo hum sab ne kaha aur kiya who maafi ke layak nahi hai, phir bhi agar ho sakhe toh plz maaf kar dijiye. Dadisa says agar hum ladki waale na hothe toh abh tak eenth (brick) ka jawaab pathar se diya hotha, par kyun ki hum ladki waale hai aur aap ladke waale humein toh apni maryaada mein rehna hoga, aur rahi baat maafi ki toh maafi maangne se bhi bahut zyaada behthar hoga agar aap aapki sirphiri ladki ko tameez aur maan maryaada sikhaye...Main devimayaa se prarthna karoongi ki who aapki ladki ko sadhbuddhi de. Saying this she asks the Singhs to head towards home.

When all the singhs were about to turn, Shiv interrupts saying that main sach mein dil se aap sabse maafi maangta hoon and he touches the feet of dadisa and gets up and goes to bhairo and says maine aapse badtmeezi se baat kiya tha..aap umar mein mujhse bade hai aur mere pita samaan hai, phir bhi maine aapkaa lihaaz nahi kiya. I am really very sorry. Mein aage se aapko kabhi bhi kissi bhi cheez mein shikayath kaa mauka nahi doonga. Bhairo says aap daamad hai humare, aap maafi mat maangiye, par haa kyunki maine aapko beta maana mein yeh ek pita ke haq se kehna chahtha hoon ki jo chot aapne meri beti ko dee hai who koi chotti si choth nahi haii...main jaantha hoon ki meri laadli yeh chot seh legi par mein nahi bhool paaoongaa. Jo galthi Anandi ne nahi kiya tha aapke parivar ne aur aapne use uski sazaa diya hai. Aapke parivaar waalon ne Anandi ko doshi tehrayaa aur aap chup chaap khade sunthe rahe. Jab use aapki sabse zyaada zarrorat thi aapne use beech raaste mein chod diya. Bhagwaan kare aapko kabhi aise dorahe par naa aana pade. Aapki yeh galthi main kabhi maaf nahi kar paoonga. Mujhe aapke poore parivaar waloon se koi shikayath nahi hai Shiv, par tumse zaroor hai, kyunki tumhare bharose maine apne jigar ke tukde ko tumhe saumpa tha, par tumne voh vishwaas thod diya hai. Main Anandi ko apne saath le jaa raha hoon agar Anandi ki marzi hain toh. Bhairon asks Anandi beta kya yeh sab hone ke baad kya tum yaheen rehna chaogi..

Anandi is shell shocked by this sudden twist. She sheds tears and replies baapusa jiss din aapne mera haath Shiv ke haathon mein kanyaadan karke saumpa tha, uss din main ne tai kiya tha ki chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye iss ghar se sirf meri arthi hee niklegi, main nahi.. Main aapke bhaavnaon ko samjthi hoon baapusa, par yehi mera ghar hain, yehi mera parivaar hai, aur apnoon se jab galthi hothe hai toh use maaf karke bhoola bhi diya jaatha hai. Main Shiv aur mera parivaar ko chod kar kahin nahin aaongi baaposa. Mujhe maaf kar deejiye.

Shiv is happy listening to this. He moves towards Sumitra and touches her feet and says sorry. Sumitra says that mujhe mere mamta par aur mere parvarish par garv hain aaj. Mere donon bache, Jagya aur Anandi aaj sach mein mera naak garv se ooncha kar diya hai. Ek beti ko vida kiya yeh soch kar ki use iss dinuiya ki saari khushiyaan milegi kyunki mujhe laga aap log padhe likhe, sanskari, aur bade suljhe hue log hain, par main galat thi, phir bhi main khush hoon kyun ki aap jaise neecha sochne waalon ko meri beti anandi gyaan degi aur beta Anandi tu apne nanand ko tameez sikhaa taaki yeh ladki kissi aur ladke aur uske khandaan ke bhaavnaoon ke saath koi aur khilwaad na kare aur ho sake toh uski maanasik santulan kaa ilaaj karwa. Aur main khush hoon kii ek beti aur mili mujhe aaj jo bilkool meri Anandi ki parchayi hai. Main bahut khush hoon ki jagya ne Ganga se shaadi karke hamari ghar mein beti ki jo kami thi who poora kar dee. Ganga and Jagya are elated with this statement of Sumitra's and both go near sumitra and take her blessings and the three join in a group hug happily.

Shiv goes to Jagya and Ganga and says I am sorry for all that u both had to go through. He keeps his hands on Ganga's head and wishes her a happy married life. She thanks him. Shiv then hugs Jagya and wishes him too and says sorry for putting him through all this. Jagya breaks the hug and says it is not the fault only from Saanchi, but he too was at fault, in fact every one was at fault, coz nobody first seeked his permission, but implemented their decision on him by taking Anandi's name, and since he did not want to see Anandi suffer again he had to agree with the decision of the elders. He then says nobody needs to apologize to anybody here, it was even my fault , though I knew at some point that I was correct in breaking this marriage, but I was wrong as I did it in the wrong way , I should have listened to myself initially itself and spoke out in the beginning itself, then this mess could have been prevented. Everyone is equally responsible, but I have a request here Shiv, never leave Anandi to face any trouble all alone. I want u to b a rock in her life under any circumstances. She is the one who suffered terribly in all this mess. Shiv nods his head and hugs him once again. The Singh family leaves from there happily with their son and their daughter-in-law.
