At the haveli, kumud realizes that Saras has lied to her and Kusum is in serious trouble. On the other hand Saras is fighting with the goons and saves a traumatized Kusum. He hugs her and reassures her that she is safe now.
Kumud is leaving the haveli to look for Saras and Kusum while Danny and Kumari try to stop her. Just then Saras reaches home with Kusum. Kumud is shocked to see kusum in such state and starts to cry and reassures her that nothing will happen to her. Kumari takes kusum inside. Kumquat glares at Saras and leaves without listening to Saras who is calling her.
Kumud reaches the BD mansion and slaps Pramad. Pramad denies his implications in the kidnapping but Kumud is livid. Pramad starts provoking her and asks her what she is planning to tell the police.
Pramad: "will u tell them that ur sis has been raped?"
Kumud raises her hand to slap him again but Pramad raises his but is stopped by Saras who has reached there on time.
Kumud tells the BDs about Pramad's cheap stunts and promises to make him rot in jail if he tries to hurt her family again. She also tells SD off by challenging her upbringing. She leaves.
Pramad is left fuming with his eyes spitting fire.
Kusum is sleeping and dreaming of Saras and how he has hugged him after saving her. Her sleep is disrupted by the sound of a car and she gets out of bed to see, she finds out it is Saras and Kumud.
Kumud is coming inside but Saras stops her. He asks:
- what was the need to go to the BDs alone?
She replies back:
- what was the need to lie to me?
They look at each other. Sara's tells her that he knew it was Pramad. Kumud starts crying. She is very upset that Pramad has tried to hurt her sister and seeing her in such state, Saras holds her by her arm and Kumud hugs him. An emotional Saras holds her in his arms as she cries her heart out.
Kusum is watching the scene and cries and says that she has tried to fall in love with Saras but it has happened. Guniyal hears it and is shocked and when she tries to confront Kusum, she stops her and runs away.
Kumud is still in Saras' arms. Saras is calming her.
- everything will b alright? Main hoon na!!
- then why do u fight with me every time?
- it's because I care...
Realizing where the conversation is heading, Saras stops. Kumud lifts up her head and moves away. As she is going back, Saras says:
- this is the truth. I care and will always care for u.
Kumud says she too...more than herself.
Saras comes to meet Kusum in her room and tells that things will be ok with time and even the heartache too will fade away. Kusum tells herself that she is not sure that her heartache will ever heal.
Kumud joins in with a glass of milk. She is feeling guilty and cries. She hugs kusum and promises to fix Pramad by telling their dad about him. Pramad will go to jail. Kusum stops her.
At the BDs, Alak is going away, unable to live under the same roof with a criminal like Pramad. SD is crying and stopping her. Alak tells her off and blames her blind love.
As Alak is leaving, Pramad shamelessly tells her crying mother to let her go as she has stayed much in her maykaa.
Finally SD slaps him and says:
- I regret nurturing and protecting a shaitaan like u!!
At the haveli, kusum tells kumud that she is not as strong as her and stops kumud from informing the family about the mishap. Kudus agrees. Saras is not agreeable to it and as they leave kusum to sleep, Saras stops kumud and asks her why she has accepted to hide the truth and that she is committing a mistake again.
Kumud is angry and tells Saras that she knows she has committed a mistake but no need to remind her every time he gets the opportunity.
And she continues:
- you too committed a mistake but when u got the chance to come back to rectify it then why don't I get the chance??
Saras is adamant about telling the truth to VC and to get Pramad in jail. Kumud refuses because of kusum. Saras asks her to stop arguing with him and kumud asks: why don't u stop being stubborn?
Saras replies:
- because I care for u and if something happens to you then how will I li..
He doesn't complete his sentence. Kumud has understood what he meant and mutters that nothing will happen to her. And angrily tells him that she knows how wrong she has been for getting Pramad out of jail by simply looking at her sister's state and Saras doesn't need to remind her of it. She leaves angrily as Saras looks on.
