Yes, Skep. this nanand bhabhi rivalry at sanchi's end is truly deplorable.

Ganga came in the way of humiliating anandi. For sanchi ganga was never the main target.

And Jagya was sanchi's tool.

When Jagya mentioned to take anandi's example, sanchi's defeat was complete and now she is like a wounded tiger.

Mentally unstable. My foot. To escape jail term. For them, jurmana is peanuts.

Women feel threatened by other women. This kind of rivalry is between men too but less because they remain outside and preoccupied with their work. Women at times can't even handle their own sisters. In-laws are different.

For Sanchi who was the only daughter and princess of KB, Anandi was total outsider. She was angry for all reasons. Why Shiv chose his bride himself though he had promised her to let her find one for him, why Anandi was given so much importance though she was a villager, divorcee and former child bride, why Anandi got so much importance at her sasra and wasn't even insulted by her ex husband. Anandi was culture shock and enigma for her.

First she kept trying to ruin Anandi's efforts or fill everyone's ears against her. Then when she interacted with Jagya she thought he was nice and wondered why divorce happened. Her infatuation was not just attraction for Jagya but also to succeed in an area where Anandi failed and prove that she was better. She probably felt displaced and slighted by Anandi in KB. This is why she later wanted to displace her in BH, throwing herself at DS and Sumitra and pushing aside Anandi.

Then Ganga came in picture so she started competing with her! 😆

She could not fathom why girls like Anandi or Ganga got more attention than her.

With this drama she regained what she had lost - center of attraction. Everyone started rallying around her again, feeding her with their hands and doing "beti"/"behna" jaap.

Behaving respectfully with Anandi or ignoring her and going about her own life were like bowing down for her. Going away and getting married to that Aussie guy was again like defeat for her (that I'll be packed off and this Anandi will be focal point in my house!).

This obsession with Jagya served as revenge against Anandi and Singhs and also a thenga to her Shiv bhaiya for marrying a divorcee.

She's one of those nanad(s) who take rivalry with bhabhi to other extreme levels.

No wonder she was still blaming Anandi and accusing her of turning her friends, her family, her Shiv bhaiya and whole world against her and barking BS like "Aap jeet gayi". 😡

Shekhars needed to deal with her carefully when she had objected to AnSh alliance and done drama at their wedding celebrations also. It was better to counsel her first and kill serpent in the egg.

wow...simply wow...👏👏

ganga sanchi skirmishes were a diversion to mislead and camouflage the real problem.

Sanchi's anger against anandi was in full force and I hope this time Shiv and the shekhars wont ignore it.

Skep-👏

+10000 , you said it. I feel Shekhars' never understood or tried refuting Sanchi's doubts about Anandi. I think Shekhars' were never too comfortable with the idea of Anandi, they went along with the marriage because she was Shiv's choice and a decent woman, their inability to sort the wrong assumptions of Sanchi during the early stage of marriage would have prevented this situation. Communication is the most essential lesson from this mess.

@Genie

Exactly! Communication is the keyword here.

Shekhars were simply going with wishes of son. And later with those of daughter.

They were never open in their doubts and assumptions.

Meenu pointed out rightly when she said a day before that this mess had happened because everyone kept their heart's voice to their hearts only.

Each and every character from all sides had to be open and frank. They all kept silent in excuse of trying not to offend others but ended up majorly offending each other and insulting each other.

Better to express one's doubts and expectations earlier than take decisions later despite doubts in some corner of one's mind.

Leaves you brought out an excellent point here, and Skep analyzed it brilliantly. So 👏

Sanchi is extremely jealous of Anandi because she feels Anandi is an ordinanry village girl who has no right to marry her brother and become part of her royal family (if she is princess then obviously she thinks her brother is the crown prince).

Anandi was her real target (enemy no. 1) and Jagiya just a tool (Leaves I have used this statement of yours in Skep's thread, could not remember who wrote it or where I saw it, but found it most apt, hope you will excuse me).

Sanchi did all this to take revenge on Anandi but it boomeranged. I do hope Shiv and the other Shekhars realize the motive behind Sanchi's drama and learn a lesson from it. In the future, they should protect Anandi from this serpent called sanchi at any cost. The best way is to pack her off to a mental rehab place forever.

I am worried what this serpent will do next? Shiv must become more protective towards anandi now.
I still cant trust Ira.
