Foe play -Kareena Kapoor

We all know that there is no love lost between Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu. However, Kareena now seems to have taken the fight a step ahead, and extended it to Bips's boyfriend John Abraham too.

Always the one to call a spade a spade, Kareena made her dislike of John evident on a chat show recently and proclaimed that he was 'expressionless'. Always the one to please his girlfriend, boyfriend Shahid abandoned his diplomatic stance, and on being asked about the one leading man Kareena would never work with, promptly said, 'John Abraham'.

So what's brewing between the two Kapoors and John Abraham? "Quite a lot actually," says a friend. "The animosity between John and Kareena can be traced to the time when Bipasha did her first film Ajnabi with Kareena. During an outdoor stint in Switzerland, Bipasha borrowed Kareena's dress-designer without her prior permission. All hell broke loose. Kareena, being impulsive and emotional, showered Bipasha with a volley of words, and when their leading man Bobby Deol tried to intervene and sort it out, he too become a sworn enemy of Kareena's," says our source.

Things only worsened when John decided to take up cudgels on his girlfriend's behalf. Our source says, "During last season's episode of Koffee with Karan, John was asked to choose between Kareena and Rani, John promptly opted for Rani. Kareena promptly took this as a sign of renewed animosity, and told her close friends that she'd never forgive him. Now, Kareena has had her revenge on Karan's show."

It remains to be seen where the bad vibes between the two finally go. John refuses to comment on the issue. All he says is that Kareena is a 'sweet girl'.

As for Kareena, she has gone through similar hate phases for several actors. Even Bobby, whom she swore never to work with after Ajnabi, was back in her professional life with Dosti. Our source says, "The only thing that's predictable about Bebo is that she's unpredictable."

John refuses to comment on the issue. All he says is that Kareena is a 'sweet girl'
