|  | | Riteish Deshmukh | Not many know that Nach Baliye winner Hussain Kuwajerwala's better half Tina and Riteish Deshmukh have been friends for over a decade. Says Tina, "I've known him since we were in college together.
We rarely get to meet, but when we do, I make sure we catch up. He's a really dear friend and I am very fond of him."
Apart from being a good friend, Riteish has now also turned into her interior decorator! His design firm, Evolution, is doing up the interiors of Hussain and Tina's new house in Lokhandwala Complex. Says Tina, "The people who work with Riteish are brilliant. Presently, Naaved Patel is looking after our interiors. These guys really understand my sensibilities."
Even though their new house is almost done, Tina isn't in a hurry to show off her two-bedroom pad to the world. She says, "I definitely don't want to rush into doing up my house. I don't mind taking my own sweet time as long as it turns out exactly the way I want."
Modern musings

Personally involved in everything from the colour of the walls to the made-to-order furniture, Tina describes her living room as having a very lounge feel to it.
"Everything about the dcor is modern and contemporary. Dipti, who works with Aesthetic Furniture, has done the furnishings as Riteish picks up lot of stuff from her.
When he found out I wanted a specific chair, he just gift wrapped it and sent it to me. I was totally surprised!"
The bedroom is a huge room with a sliding door, that work as a partition with the living room. "I have a huge bed, and the walls are totally white. It gives out a totally peaceful vibe," she says.
When asked what's her most favourite possession in the house, Tina says, "There is this interesting piece I picked up during our trip to New Zealand. It changed shapes and colours and lights up in several different colours." |
