Karan Johar's acting skills surprise Ranbir Kapoor

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar has managed to "pleasantly shock" actor Ranbir Kapoor, who shares screen space with him in Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet'.

"Karan is a good actor and I was pleasantly surprised by his acting. He has a great clarity and passion towards his work. He has added a lot to the film," Ranbir said.

'Bombay Velvet' also stars Anushka Sharma and is slated to release sometime next year.
