Shiv has to realise where he went wrong in handling his family. And has to realise how bad it feels if past is rubbed on a woman's face again and again. He must think of hopes he gave to Anandi, Singhs and Anandi's biological family. But what he later did. He also needs to know that only Anandi can't balance his family. She is still discovering them. Whereas he knows them. He should play an active role in house too apart from eating or merry-making. Or shift to Circuit house if he can't handle joint family pressures.

They need to be able to talk contentious matters too. Talking them in private is easier and better than public tamasha in drawing rooms, hospital corridors or courtrooms.

How Shakhers changed their stance is not understandable. This whole track is badly written and shows that creatives are out of ideas how to take the story forward.

My point was if Jagya was truly a person who would not even think of hurting a woman, he would have refused this rishta point blank - notwithstanding any pressure from his family. He knew very well that he will never like Sanchi and can give no khushi to her. Add to this the odd position of himself and Anandi due to this rishta. Nobody - not even Sanchi would have been happy had this marriage happened.
