And with Anandi's reply to Shiv while depicting Jagya's truth in the court, it was a BANG ON reply to her egoistic husband 🥳 I have no more problems with Shiv's answers now.. Anandi has given him back ..
However, Anandi's clean chit to Jagya's character was a bit surprising.. But as I am favoring Jagya in this case pretty badly, I am happy with such blatant answer of Anandi which leaves no scope for prosecution to grill her 🥳
Way to go Anandi.. Jagya is a changed man now, and he totally deserves such character certificate from people 🥳

Absolutely right! Anandi's testimony was a good answer, not only to her egoisitc husband, but to the whole egositic family. No wonders Shiv got up and walked out - that said everything about his thinking - How dare she contradict him? I am SO HAPPY A has given as good back as she got!

Re: J, yes she gave him a clean chit, but even he deserves a break. Whatever his past may be, what is relevant here, to this case, is what he is in the present and why he did what he did re: breaking off engagement with S and whether or not he is responsible for her attempted suicide - he clearly is not...

Anandi did a good job - at last she got her voice back! 👏

@groucho..i do agree with most of your points.

but whether anandi was absolutely SPOT ON & correct is debatable, she said "jaanboojh kar kabhi kisi aurat ko dukh ya takleef nahin de sakte jagdish"

@bold .. is that true ? she was not referring to just the present but the past too .she has not only answered the lawyer's question but also much more than that.. in one stroke she proved her husband wrong...his belief that she had suffered a lot at jagya's hands in the past 😕

as i think more n more...i feel she has not been completely truthful but biased towards jagya.

also in the present, except for helping ganga, what other qualities of jagya made her make such strong statements in the court ...what proofs does she have to validate her statements ?

He never set out to hurt her deliberately.
She suffered because of his actions and they were not directed against her they were his attempts to make a life for himself. She suffered because her life was linked to his.
He wanted Gauri so she ended up suffering and he wanted her back in his life she ended up suffering.
The onetime he tried to hurt her deliberately was when he implicated Shiv in the case railway track tender tampering. That too he came back and surrendered before the police because he realised that he couldn't see her suffering for what he has done deliberately.

Sure I expected differing opinions...that is what makes this Forum interesting.
She was asked in the present scenario...she answered in the present. It could be construed either way...so I guess we are looking at it differently.
Yes Jagya hurt her in the past...wasn't the whole point of BV to show the effects of child marriage?? That is a whole new debate.
Did she tell Shiv she had suffered at the hands of Jagya??? I seem to recall her telling Bhairon not to blame Jagya...because he was as helpless as she was... of course she went through hell but there were more factors than just Jagya.

As for what Jagya has done...do you really think what has been shown is only Ganga and nothing else???

I accept your view even if it differs from mine 😊...as you said correctly...we are in agreement with most 😉😊

^ I agree with Aparnauma..
In the course of Jagya's actions to find happiness for himself, Anandi got hurt.. His primary intention was to be happy with Gauri, not to hurt Anandi.. We can call him selfish, but not evil.. Cuz even in the worst time of JaAn life, Jagya had immense respect for Anandi.. And he always adored her !!
Also, the difference was shown pretty visibly between Shekhars and Anandi.. And that she is a misfit to them.. Jagya has done much more worse to Anandi than he has done to their so-called princess Sanchi.. Yet, for such small incident of breaking engagement ( relatively small ) they are throwing so much trash on Singhs and on themselves whereas Anandi handled the worst moment of her life in such respectible manner.. Yet, today she gave statement in favor of Jagya.. And Shekhars with their 'chota mann' are yet to forgive Jagya .. Way to go Anandi for not holding grudges for life and be great ! 👍🏼

@bold - the lawyer asked what sort of person Jagdish is and had also said that being Jagdish's wife - she knows him well. So Anandi saying Jagdish is a matured person was given but how could she add that he respects women etc.- was this also asked?

I agree 100% with you TM! 😊

What Anandi did was correct and adequate.

Rest is duty of PP.

And if lawyers, police and Shiv could dig up other stuff from past then they could dig up stuff here too, put them in front of court or questioned Jagya or Anandi about them!

On her part, Anandi was right.

I am glad she stood by truth.
