Jodhas Character sketchs is right!!!

Just as a diiferent opinion to some of us saying that Cvs have assasinated Jodhas character..

YET...she could have chosen to say something else to the Emperor other than 'Please don't die in Amer since my parents will get blamed'

I have always found jodha's character very interesting. Contrary to common belief I find her very layered. She is not an epitome of sacrifice nor she is understanding all the time. In short she is human, very human. I do not understand why her words are always taken at the face value? She says "I don't care" doesn't mean she doesn't . Focussing on yesterday's interaction: it all started with jodha asking jalal to leave because his life is in danger. The moment jalal asked are you concerned? Pat came the reply "no". Didn't jalal do the same thing when he rescued her? The girl said let me die and pat came the reply "no, will not let you compromise sultanate's izzat". Not once he said forget sultanate 'I' don't want you to die. Does that mean he saved jodha only to restore the sultanate's izzat? Nothing can be far from truth than this.

She's no doubt endured a number of things but remember they were a while ago...and he's done a lot after that! She also has done (if not as much a few things too -like burning the dress, constantly muttering about severing his head, ghrina, taunting him in public etc)😕

Even murderers (not all, obviously) are subjected to 7-10 years imprisonment and then released if on good behaviour! 😕

I don't think most have a problem with Jodha's ghrina...its the language she uses (very unbecoming of her/his status) that everyone is having a problem with...😊

we can not judge jodha by this dialogue that i m not worried for u but for my parents
i m quite sure they are using the line quite repeatitiely
it must have something to do with thier love story like she will admit i worry for you in coming episodes

Jodha from day one of her existence on this earth has been told and taught that "all invaders are enemy", "every invader will trample on your self respect and self esteem", "death before dishonour". Every day of her 17 years this woman has been hammered with such prejudices, how is she suppose to let go of them so easily? The next question arises why can't she? Can't she see jalal is so nice to her?precisely because of this It's all the more difficuilt for her. A sworn enemy being nice to her beyond normal. Why? Why me? Is he gonna hurt me where it hurts the most? I shall keep the pretence on. What if I bare my soul and he walks all over it? Am I strong enough to take such an enormous risk? Jalal has a ruqaiya, a Salima to turn to: jodha's world will crash to pieces if jalal doesn't turn out to be what her heart believes he is.

True...Agree Jodha has gone through a lot of harassment at the hands of Mughals, but she is particularly rude to Jalal. Towards others at agra, like Ruqaiya and MA, she is better controlled.Why??...does being a wife, she exercises her right of grihna only on her husband? Why isn't she that straight forward in front of others? Does she fears others, just not the shahenshah??😆
Its OK, that for her its not easy to fall into love with Jalal, but that doesn't mean you cannot have even minor etiquette...You can't hold your tongue, of saying very harsh words to a person who is actually trying to rectify things , being nice to you.😡 He has always asked for forgiveness and acknowledged her plight because of him, but she is completely blind in her pride.
Long back, once she realized that the emperor is getting manipulated by people around him,he himself is not that bad, but today she has forgotten that.
The character is itself getting reduced to a foolish, arrogant princess, rather than a dignified intelligent lady...because of the constant dragging of her hateful version. I am seriously unhappy with the kind of dialogues given to her now a day, they have lost the depth...and are completely hollow in front of Jalal's.
