Kareena out of Karan-Ekta film?

From what we hear, Kareena Kapoor Khan will not be doing the Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar joint venture. Reason? It seems that the actress quoted a whopping amount for the film which stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Much more than her market price. And because the film does not have an extravagant budget, the producers felt it is best to find a replacement. Now this is quite an interesting development, considering the warm rapport Kareena shares with Karan. Watch this space for more.

That makes no sense.
Kareena's still doing Shuddhi with Johar. And it's not like she's being offered too many great projects that she'd gamble this one for money. Besides, last time she did that, she got burned. Since then, she doesnt refuse Dharma.

I get the feeling that Dharma is the one that's putting these stories out in the press, just to get some more speculation going.

I told you so. Its not money or anything. BT after several flops is revisiting their strategy of working with stars. They did better with smaller films starring newbies/smaller stars.

K-Jo's suggestion. He knows Ekta is a miser... she would drop Kareena immediately after listening Bebo's quote.

I think, K-Jo doesn't want to work with kangal Balaji anymore. He wants this project to get shelved. 😆
