Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

KC in MBEIEJ brings back good memories of last year...those were the days my friend,we thought they'd never end..😃

Tension, tension..nothing that cannot be handled...but with care and patience: 😆

MC yells at RK...SLB style. He is angry with Madhu, that she has'nt understood the gravity of the situation. he wants RK to handle Madhu, and shake her out of her patni avtar. RK in turn fumes ..
Madhu tries to apologise to Rji...who has already been primed by Pabho, so she is curt and rude with Madhu, even calls her 'doosre log'...shocking Rji. Et tu, Maa?? Aap bhi typical saas nikli...?? 😆
Pabho declares success..in turning Rji against Madhu, Rji has left following her heart and is following Pabho's path, as laid out by her...
RK-Madhu have a huge argument, ghar ki duty versus bahar ka kaam, karam versus dharam argument...witnessed by a gloating Pabho & Dipali. Beware, Madhu is getting into her stubborn mode, your gloating will be short lived.
At night, they both are angry with each other, both miss dinner, and sleep with their backs turned to each other😕. madhu refuses to talk to RK who tries to make up but in vain. Cute scene...but with pillows in between.😡
next morning, Madhu is surprised and hurt to see that RJi has not prepared sargi for her. Egged on by Pabho, Rji believes that Madhu will not keep her vrat.
Madhu eats sargi...small improvement, this time its from the frig not the dust bin. Thank God for small mercies.😆
At the dining table, madhu declares she is fasting, RJi is stunned..why?? Does'nt she know Madhu? RK looks on ...irritated. Now we have the battle lines drawn...will Madhu be able to fast and shoot as she has resolved to do?
Hmm, please, I don't know about MC, but I cannot stand one more day of pack-up. Looks like, I will pray to Bappaji that the shoot is completed and successfully at that..more for my own sake

Didn't particularly care all that very much for the episode. So my review is more cursory than usual (was even debating whether to post it!)

Yawn. MC tells a subdued RK that he is his last hope. No one else wants to work with him. Blah blah blah. So the director commands the producer to bring back his heroine. It was funny how MC referred to the real life drama being more dramatic than the film.
In the meantime Pabbho is instigating Radhaji, yet again. And of course, weakling Radhaji falls for it. Gives Madhu the cold shoulder when she races home to placate her.
The clash between RK and Madhu, where each one of them pretty clearly articulated their POV. Interesting, but for me the effect was diluted by Pabbho and Dips grinning evilly in the background. BTW, loved how RK talked about the seniors knowing that they were not filmin a "dharmik" movie 😆
So RK and Madhu have a real disagreement - and do not make up overnight. Even though the adorable man wants to resolve the issue, he is met with his wife turning her back on him (in the time honored way of wives through the ages 😆.) Of course, she does squeak a protest when she sees pillow wall being erected 😆. So RK wants to resolve the issue, but on his terms, but Madhu is pretty clear about getting him to understand her perspective. They are at an impasse.
Poor Madhu, up at the crack of dawn, looking lovely, all ready for her sargi. But Nooo. Radhaji is being sullen again. This is getting kind of old. Is she going to do this every Karwa Chauth? Deny Madhu her sargi?
But fear not. Our intrepid Madhu apparently has hit on yet another creative solution. For a moment, I was petrified that she would head towards the trashcan, but instead, she opened the refrigerator, to get the Radhaji-prepared leftovers. Phew! Small mercies.
RK and Madhu have yet another tussle. Re: Karwa Chauth. It was cute. Watching the battle of wills. and RK with his dialogue about what probably went on in the kitchen 😆
At the breakfast table, Madhu declares that she is fasting. Radhaji looks shocked.Why? Radhaji, this is Madhu, not Dips. RK doesn't look too pleased.

The Precap: Based on Dips' mole in the studio, apparently RK is trying to sabotage Madhu's fast. That should be interesting.

Tomorrow is another day...Karwa Chauth day. Nice. 😃

but the most interesting part was the chain reaction of hilarious dialogues today..

MC and RK's argument..role reversal..MC with RK..MC is upset bec. the shooting of HIS film is disrupted..Hello Mr. MC, this is RK's film and ur his employee ! Good morning ! but I liked some of his dialogues...every alternate day the shooting is halted bec. of Madhu...bec. she brings the baggage of her ghar ki problems on the set...expecting professionalism frm her is unfair, and I'm sure she will learn slowly but I feel she's already been given leeway for being RK's wife..if it was any other heroine in her place, she wud have been fired by now...RK can see the problem clear cut, and he agrees with MC..he had no other option but "pack up" !

RK & Madhu's argument

for a moment I thought that it's not good to argue in front of the "audience" i.e. the snakes of RK mansion but I think RK noticed their presence and purposely went ahead with it for 2 reasons..

1) they are non existent entities for him...if they are important for Madhu then she needs to check her priorities...

2) he wanted to make it clear, yet again, that Madhu's foremost responsibility is towards his film and not this house...

IMO a very relevant argument...RK telling her that she shouldn't bother about news & gossips was correct...he mentioned "big budget" film bec. everyday he must be losing lakhs of money for the pack ups happening...If he's expecting sincerity from Madhu , he's not wrong...Madhu retorting back that she doesn't have the "on off " switch in her was correct...day before I said the same thing...She's confident that she can balance both the roles, fine, she can try...but she's not a super women...hauslon se veer mummy ka mantra is not a gennie who will fulfill every wish...RK is trying his best to help her to cope up with the situation...i'm repeating this again . kaunse ghar ki bahu ka role karna hai? RK mansion ki? 😆

After the initial storm, I liked it that RK initiated the convo & said that they should talk..but Madhu was not in the mood 😆 typical husband wife, muh left and right mein karke sona...RK putting the pillows back was very cute 😆 n the morning scene was amazing ! 👏 Also, I liked Madhu's dialogue that it's her khushi to fast for RK...

PS I created a separate topic for today's episode , I'm posting this msg here bec. my dear friend Soundarya and Meenu threatened to quit the EDT , but i won't be replying to any msgs if someone quotes me...no arguments frm my side...Meenu, maine teri baat maani ab u have to agree with me...

Three cheers to Charu for being back and Meenu n Soundary for getting her here! 🤗

And adding to your list of funny dialogues, I liked MC asking RK and Madhu to hire another director and make him direct half the time and the other half he can make rotis. It made me laugh, when I was actually fuming at MC's insolence for declaring himself RK's last hope. So good job Mr. R.S today. The dialogues of today remind us the of the good old days when RK had tongue in cheek dialogues all the time.

And most importantly I am very pleased that finally the honeymoon phase is over for this lovey dovey RK- Madhu! RK decided to stop molly coddling his wife and took her a peg or two down today! Phew! And Madhu's on off switch dialogue was justified, along with her claim that its easier for men to act indifferent in such circumstances. Stubborn alert big time. But then that's when the really reveal the sparks of the RK- Madhu we all love. My only grouse, (though Charu explained it well) was RK having the personal confrontation with his wife in front of the unwelcome audience. He could have very well moved it to their BR. Oh well! Second mistake by the couple, they did let the sun go down on their anger. Though it was a cute scene, RK's feeble attempts at making up and Madhu's protest on the pillow wall going up again. 😃

And what in earth possesses Rji every KC, pray tell me. I swear the woman just does it for the TRPs. That tiff n sargi kitchen scene with that dustbin in the background, will give me nightmares for today. As Rji walked off and stubborn Madhu decided she will have sargi made by maa, I could hear the chorus in my brain from last year pointing out to the dustbin. But Madhu improvises n has food from fridge instead.

RK is back to irritating n pestering his wife with his witty dialogues for he knows the woman will keep vrat for him, much against his wishes. But he's decided once more he won't let her have it easy this time around too. Like Mother Like Son. Kahaan phas gayee Madhu bechaari. I liked his dig at her having to inform her time of fainting so he can be there in time.

Why does nobody in MB-land understand the meaning of privacy? A director has a problem with his producer so he will shout at him in front of the whole unit. A married couple want to have an argument and instead of going to their room they will have it in the hall where everybody can listen

Mehul Chopra hit below the belt today 😡 To taunt RK about the producer's ban and that too in front of the whole unit was in extremely bad taste. RK had no option but to listen quietly because what MC was saying was the bitter truth. Once upon a time RK used to do the same to his producers and unit members, today he got a taste of his own medicine. Yeah baby, karma is a bitch!

And then there is our Madhu darling, overflowing with the milk of human kindness. Runs to Radhaji to placate her, who is too much under her evil sister's spell to listen. Is this going to be an yearly thing Radhaji? You sadaaoing your munh dot on karvachuath day? Come to think of it, the karvachauth week last year got MB its highest TRP. So are the CVs following the same template again this year? 🤔

The RK-Madhu argument was the best part of the episode. Both right in their own ways, both frustrated with the situation. Their dialogues today seemed straight out of yesterday's EDT 😉 But whiIe I empathise with Madhu's stand, her cry-baby act is putting me off big time! Why does she have to start crying everytime? 😕 👎🏼

A typical husband-wife scene after a fight 😊 Loved RK for making the effort to sort things out but Madhu is in no mood to listen 😳 The pillow wall makes a cameo! By the way, the servant's dialogue killed me, "Paabho ne aapke liye khaana bheja hai, Radhaji ne apne haathon se bayaaya hai" 🤣

Next morning, hauslon se veer jali hui kheer all ready to start her vrat. Only to be met by a dour faced MIL. And RK does his bit to chidkaao namak on the zakham. Like that will ever stop our Madhu from doing exactly what she wants to 😆

Precap - So a tug of war is going on at the studio. Remembered last year's dialogue "Bhookhi marti ho mar jao par RK nahi aayega!"

Why does Madhu tell RK that she has not had sargi?😕

They could have given one happy KC this time... Radha could have turned vamp one episode later, RK could have made sure that she doesnt over-work/stress herself too much and then one romantic breaking of the fast...

sab mein drama, nautanki hona zaroori hota hai kya? 😆

every struggle has its own share of up and downs. not necessary that they should always keep it tense and dramatic. things can move smoothly once in a while atleast.. some feel-good moments that blend in very naturally in the course of the story...

ps : epi was hilarious today...i loved rk. rk yelling at madhu n challenging her. it is the only way madhu wud take the film head on
