Television actress Asha Negi better known as Purvi', from Zee TV's longest running show Pavitra Rishta, shares with urlremoved her love for travel!
What does travel mean to you?
Travel for me, is taking a nice long break from a hectic schedule and just relaxing.
Which is your fondest memory during your many trips?
That would be my trip to Israel and the city of Jerusalem, this year in January, which was one very pure trip I can say.We visited a holy place, which was just awesome! We had also visited the dead sea on one of the days too which I just loved, and so I really want to go back there soon!
Any place which has left a deep impact on you?
The city of Jerusalem, as I really felt blessed there.
Any disappointing experience?
Umm, that would be at the Mumbai airport only before we were leaving for Israel. I lost my passport which led to a big confusion due to which we had to book another flight. So eventually,we ended up missing one of the two concerts we had to be there for!
What do you like to do on vacation?
Shopping is what I love indulging in. That is top priority on my list. Besides that, I love exploring the place, eating the food, going off to the beach in case of a nice one, as I just love beaches! And yes, meeting new people too. I also do like getting adventurous but not very as I am a bit scared too. On our trip to South Africa, last year, one of the very adventurous activities I tried out was being put into a glass cage and going down into the water, to get a good view of white sharks right next to us, which was actually an awesome experience!
Which was your most recent holiday?
New York, for a concert in the month of September, which was great fun! I explored the entire city to the fullest and shopped a lot of course!
Which places do you have on your wish list?
I haven't ever been to Goa before, so if given a good week long break sometime, I would love to go there! Besides that, I would love to visit Mauritius someday, and go back to Israel too!
India or going abroad, which do you feel is better?
Every place you visit provides a different experience whether in India or abroad, so for me, both are great! Though I would first love to explore the whole of India and then step outside the country.
Which is an ideal place for a budget friendly vacation?
Goa for sure, where I am waiting to go soon!
