He was ashamed of himself! His eyes wear tearful. What he had done was not only a crime, but also a big Slap to his false Ego!
He now knew, that Jodha was absolutely correct in analysing him, he didnt even deserve her hatred now!
He lifted up Jodha who was totally unconscious and dressed her up, for she needed immediate treatment!..

When Jodha woke up after 3 days of unconsciousness, Hameeda had told her the rest of the story!

Chapter 4:

*Present Day*

Jodha slipped in restless and peaceless sleep..

Hameeda returned back to Jodha's room. SHe looked at sleeping Pale Jodha and smiled a bit.
"Atleast she slept" She said concernedly!

Hameeda again caressed her forehead talked to sleeping Jodha - HUmein muaf Kar dijiye Jodha Beta! Aapki ye halat kahin na kahin
humare wajah se hi hai..Agar humne us Jallad ko Janm na diya hota..To aaj aapki ye halat na hoti..

As Hameeda continued to caress Jodha, she slipped in Flashback.

*Flash Back*

Jodha had been terribly bruised after the incident. After all, She had been the prey of a mighty beast.
The doctors tried their best to cure Jodha's injuries.

Hakim Sahiba said - Mallika! Humein yakeen hai ke Jodha Begum ki haalat 2-3 din mein sudhar jayegi, lekin humein ek bat ka behad khauf
hai...

Hameeda in her trance - Kaisa khauf Hakim Sahiba?

Hakim - Vo...Vo jab Jodha Begum ko hosh ayega..aur Unhe apni halat ka andaza hoga..to vo kaise seh payengi ye sab..
Humein dar hai ke kahin vo kuch galat kadam na utha lein..Bhale hi hum unke Sharir ke ghav bhar denge lekin..unke nazuk
dil aur man par hue pratighat ko kaise bharenge Mallika-e-Azam...

Hameeda feared the same.
She said determinedly - Hum apni jodha ko in sab se bahar nikalenge! Hum unhe kuch nahi hone donge! Unke man ke ghav bhi
hum hi bharenge.

On the other hand, this news had wildly spread across whole harem and Court.
They were shocked to their cores. They couldnt believe that Shenshah could do this.

Ruqaiya was immensely happy with Jalal's deeds. Neither did she know Jodha, nor she wanted to know her.
What she just knew was, Jalal had added one more victory to his list.

Ruqaiya roamed in harem with full pride and proudiness. She said to everyone -
Agar Shahenshah ke khilaf ek aawaz bhi uthi to iska anjaam acha nahi hoga..
Aur ye kya laga rakha hai?? Kya hua hai Jodha Begum ko?
Ek Shauhar aur Biwi ke paak rishtey ko Is Jodha begum ne be-izzat kiya hai..
Shahenshah ne unhe mohabbat dene ki koshish ki, aur unhone ye sab dhong kiya..

Ohter harem Begums quitenned and did not utter a word. They very well knew Ruqaiya and her personality.
They thought,..it would be better to forget about Jodha Begum.
Otherwise, this Ruqaiya will create problems for them.

3 days had passed with much difficulty.
Jalal had not shown his face to Hameeda even once.

Jalal had turned so hard within..due to this deed of his.
He thought - he would never ever show his face to Jodha! He wont be able to meet eyes with her..
What had that lovely woman did to you Jalal, that you punished her this way..
You hated her, but is this the way you treat a woman..
How can you forget your limits and mannerisms?

He spent 3 peaceless nights alone in his Chamber.

It was the morning of fourth day. hameeda still sat beside Unconscious Jodha!
Hakeems were continuously tending to her.
Jodha's injuries had almost healed completely. But again, she had lost a lot of blood.

Hameeda prayed in her mind to Allah.

Suddenly, Hakeems and Hameeda noticed the opening eyes of Jodha.
Jodha's eyes trembled to open, but finally she woke up.

SHe was very weak, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.
She had woken up from a long sleep, she thought!

She looked around her world. She noticed Hameeda and Hakeems over there.
She suddenly tried to get up, but couldn't.

Hameeda was happy. Her happiness at that moment was beyond everything.

She said - Jodha Beta! Lete rahiye..Aaram kijiye..

Jodha in a very low tone - Lekin Ammi-Jaan aap sab yahan..aur hum abhi tak so rahe hain..kisi ne humein jagaya nahi..

Hameeda got silent. Jodha suddenly realised everything.

She was stunned. She remembered each and every second of that devil night when She was broken to pieces.
Tears flowed from her eyes. Hameeda noticed this and cried too.

Jodha got up immediately and hugged Hameeda.
A very tight hug!

Jodha didnt say anything, She just cried. Her eyes were already red due to immense crying.
Hameeda caressed her back and consoled her.

They hugged nearly for 10 minutes. Jodha's mental condition was beyond repair.
She just cried her heart out in the arms of Hameeda Begum.

Finally they broke the hug. Hameeda looked down, all silent.
She had expected that Jodha will burst out now.
She will not leave Jalal or anyone who dared to hurt her.

But no, Hameeda guessed it wrong.

Hameeda tried to speak - Jodha! Humein muaff kar dijiye..

Jodha didnt utter any word. She was still in trance.

She had lost her everything. That devil had not only attacked on her womanhood, but also on her heart and soul.
She was broken into numerous pieces by him. She couldnt believe that everything actually happened.
Her self-pride,self-esteem, her honour, her feelings, her izzat..everything had been crushed beyond repair.

She was no more fiery.
Hameeda shaked Jodha and said- Jodha beta! Hum aapse baat kar rahe hain..jawab dijiye..Humein daatna hai daatiye..
Par kuch boliye...

Jodha came out of her thoughts and said - Humein kisi se gila shikva nahi hai Ammi-jaan! Hum bas kuch samay akela rehna chahte hain.

That statement by Jodha had shocked everyone in the room. Hameeda and Hakims were suprised to hear that.
They dared not to ask Jodha anything further.

From that day on, Jodha never spoke anything other than required, she Just obeyed Hameeda for everything.
She would never mention anything about Jalal, nor did she wish to see him.

She would just do Kanha prayers everyday.

Slowly and Gradually, hameeda had understood the meaning of jodha's statement.
She now knew what Jodha had meant.

**Flashback Ends**

Hameeda said to sleeping Jodha - Beta! Humein ab gyat hua ke aapke vo kehna ka kya matlab tha..AApko kisi se gila shikva nahi hai..
Kyonki aap apne aap ko andar hi andar maar rahi hain..aapne hum sab se man hi man rishtey tod liye hain..Hum Allah
se dua karte hain..ki humari phool si bachi ko Jaldi se thik karde..!! Uske sharir ke ghav to kabke bhar gaye..lekin Dil ke
ghav abhi tak nahi bhare..

Precap : Jodha in garden..Suddenly she faints and Jalal catches on her time!!
