Yes... I saw that scene too ... I didn't see the whole episode but I found it strange that u didn't like Naveen's performance.
Actually even I couldn't imagine Naveen Prabhakar as a villain ... he is one of the most talented stand up comedians. No idea why he was chosen to play the villain like this. Or may be direction was not good.
BTW... did u get time to read my review on Saturday's episode that I posted on ur thread "Kundali Story"? ... waiting for ur reply on it 😊

The actor who played the villain was Navin Prabhakar who made "Pehchaan Kaun" a memorable line in recent TV history. Believe me I have seen him do a better job when it comes to acting the bad guy. I will not blame him for yesterday's episode. I think he did his best with whatever he was given. It was a case of poor writing and too many loose ends.

A struggling actress dies in a mansion after cooking food when she was alone, do we know who she lived with, the Villain in Gabbar's getup was in the house when TWO ETF officers were investigating (Gosh how could they miss a fully grownup man in that house), Why he wanted to kill the old boy friend when he was dumped by his lady love made no sense either (he could not even recognize the villain), and then wanting to kill Arjun out of the blue. The obsession for negative characters and his murderous streak had no connection.

This time they made even Arjun look like a fool. Like when he got that Voice SMS about speed and last journey, he should have known his breaks were tampered with, instead he kept driving like they never got the message. Since the first scene Arjun is seen saying he is dangerous, smart killer, etc. I think we have seen more dangerous and worse killers on the show, what was so dangerous and smart about him.

And one observation about the location. An award winning director who was supposed to make the biggest Bollywood film is shown living in a flat while a struggling actress (I am not even mentioning that I actually thought she was a cook not an actress) is shown living in a mansion. What happened to Art direction??? This is exactly what I hated about CID, cleaners, waiters, sweepers are showing living in mansions, I hope Arjun is not heading in the same direction.

Sorry but it was not Navin but the entire creative team (story, screenplay, dialogs, art department) of Arjun who put a bad show this time, but then as fans we can allow then one goof-up, here and there.

I am tired of Psycho-Serial Killers. Its been too many weeks. Lets move on now.

I haven't seen or heard of this gent before so dont know about his earlier works. But that explains why the PH would cast him in this role. I can't even say he was ill suited. It was like he did not understand the part at all.The scenes he appeared in were really yawn worthy. You'll have to watch the episode from scene 1 to know what I mean😊

Yeah, I read your analysis but then we had already moved on to the next episode. Will reply soon.

I disagree. The part was very brilliantly written. It required a really skilled actor to carry it through. This man simply did not have it in him.I wish it were played by someone like that masked online killer. His face was completely covered for most part of the episode.Yet with his deep menacing voice and even menacing body language he managed to inspire fear and left his mark so deep that till today when asked for best of Arjun series that episode is right next to Episode 1 and the Chess Master case.I so wish he was roped in again yesterday.

Actually it isn't that far fetched😊 Its not hard to rent a mansion for a few months to make living arrangements for people working in temporary projects and its more likely to find single men preferring to own a small flat no matter how much money they make. That she was cooking her own meals is proof that she was only living in that mansion and wasn't the owner.Else she'd have had some house help.

I am surprised you should find the dialogues a goof up😲 In my opinion they were the high points of yesterday's story.

^ To each his own I guess. I did not find the Villian's part well written. I agree the Masked killer was great but that too. They really worked on him there, here it seemed like they were sleep walking. Its like when the team is new, show is new, you go all out to make audience like you but with time when you have a fan following, you tend to take it is easy, cut corners.

About the dialogs, I was not happy with Navin's dialogs, no punch, but I liked Arjun's dialogs for most part except for when the he was trying to convince us how menacing the killer is. I mean Arjun has to say it over and over to convince us that he was a smart killer but the killer himself was not able to do it even after seeing him kill the poor girl.

Who do you think has been the best Psycho-Serial Killer in this series so far. I think it was a Door-Bell killer, menacing, cruel, smart and very very well portrayed backed up by a good story and screenplay.

I too think as far as Psychos go that Door bell monster was the worst...or best as you see it😆 He brought about the correct amount of revulsion and fear.Great acting chops there😊

But the series need to end now.We need the old bad guys back😛
