'Yaariyan' (Poetry) Dedication

Hey guys!! Ok, I'm in some mood and was just sitting down after washing dishes now (yes Amuji, I was working)... and these lines came to me. They're in punjabi, but I have offered a little translation of sorts. It is a special dedication to my RDi (Raminda, aka Iqbaladdict), since she had wanted me to write something in punjabi.

This forum is friggen rocking!! I love it and you guys... Hope you like it.😉

Kisse nu shaurataan diyan bulandiyan ne hankariya,

Kisse nu ishq-e diyan kaliyan ne savariya.

Kisse nu jeevan de pehlooan ne tukhraya,

Kisse nu pyar de rangan ne nikhaariya.

Kisse nu milan diyan ghadiyan ne dukhariya,

Tah kisse nu badle di ag ne vangariya.

Horan diyan gallan taan oh hi janan,

Sanu tah tuhadiyan yaarian ne maariya.

Translation:

For some, the heights of fame have resulted in arrogance,

For some, the tales of love have resulted in sweet imprints on their souls.

For some, life's aspects have detered,

For some, the colours of love have resulted in their purification.

For some, the long awaiting in love has depressed,

For some, the fire of revenge has instigated.

Others are the only ones to know their story,

For me, I'm blessed by your friendship.

must say punjabi dee gall hi kuch hoor hai, saroor ho gaya, what do u eat u have to tell me so i can think like u, 😆😆😆, Am i glad to have discovered IF and U U U . lucky me, u have made my day.

U know The song Yarrian from Amrinder gill is my absolute faves aswell.

the very essence of friendship, love, in case any feeling is touched and scened by heart and very few people can put them in words...the words which can see and feel the heart...and dc i am glad u r one of the few. 😳

far away from me, i can see u through the skies which join us, i can feel u through the moments which we share together. i wonder stimes are these feelings really present when we see the person.. 😆 (jk)😳

p.s. dc as far as i know dish washing is done by dishwasher 😉 oh u kept the dishes in the washer...meri jaan u really worked today..go , go and take rest 😆
