Anandi was in her room crying bitterly for how her father for whom she had immense respect was treated by her in-laws. As if the summons from the court was not enough for her she had to bear her father getting insulted. She was in her side of the bed trying to control her tears but they wouldn't just stop.

Shiv enters the room feeling guilty for what happened downstairs just an hour back. Although he didn't like Bhairon's support for Jagya after what he had done to his sister. But, he knew in his heart that Bhairon didn't deserve this kind of treatment in his house. He didn't want to talk to anybody from the Singhs.

He saw Anandi was already sleeping. He knew she could never sleep in the state she was in. He never felt so helpless ever in his whole life. On one hand was justice was for his sister and the other hand was his wife Anandi having to give a witness to the case as Jagya's ex-wife. He knew how difficult it has been for his wife to move on in life and forget her past. But, this case was making everything come back to haunt her. He wanted to talk to her but there was something that was stopping him and he didn't know what and why..
