AKSHAY KUMAR: 'I am not worried about being in the 100 crore club

Akshay Kumar has said he is not worried about being in the '100 crore club'.

According to Mid Day, the star denied being under pressure after the disappointing box office performance of his previous film Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara.



"I am not worried about being in 100 crore club," explained Kumar. "My film Oh My God topped about 82-84 crore and was a success despite not being in the 100 crore club because it was made only in 12 crores.

"Returns were 300-400 per cent high on OMG and it was a bigger hit than any other films of mine. Boss is made in about 50 crore. I am not worried if it is crossing 100 crore or not."

The 46-year-old actor, who plays a Haryanavi gangster in the action movie, said Boss is the "best action film," as it does not rely on computer-generated action sequences.

"It is much raw, man-to-man, real action. Also, the climax is very different from the rest of the movies," he explained.

"In the climax, I do not come with an army of people to fight Ronit in the end. Nor he has an army to deal with me. It is a fight between me and him, man to man."

Starring veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, Aditi Rao Hydari and Ronit Roy. Boss is scheduled to release on October 16.
