The way Anandi behaved and talked today, no one could be convinced with her.

CM told her how they had to bear with things no matter how wrong it felt. Yet she had her face sullen each time talk of case against Jagya came up.

When she talked to Shiv, she mainly talked about rishta between two families, shame and impact faced by BH wale when police comes to their doorstep, how Jagya was not the only one at fault. Only in the end she added that Sanchi will feel worse when lawyers ask her uncomfortable questions in court.

She could not be diplomatic. She could not be careful with words and convey she supported Shekhars' interests.

This way who'd have been convinced by her?

You call your ex husband by his nickname which only few close family members call him by. You talk of shame your maiyka will have to face. You can't even give impression that you understand family's pain or POV?

I couldn't feel sympathy for Anandi today. I did not think she was convincing.

No wonder Shiv didn't buy whatever she said.

She should have talked facts. She should have spoken about how Sanchi isn't entirely innocent and that in court such facts could have a negative interpretation. She should have pointed out how there wasn't really a viable case against Jagya
Instead she cried (Sigh!) and spoke about BH people izzat crap
She wasted an opportunity to talk some sense

But I was thoroughly upset with Shiv too today. Ira was a certified lunatic , but Shiv...It's sad

"Nothing will be achieved by the court case" is a lame excuse. If Anandi had filed bigamy case against Jagya - he could not have dared to again play with other girls lives. Sanchi is what she is - no one can have sympathy with her. But agreeing to marry someone and then breaking the engagement when even marriage cards have been distributed citing incompatibility and marrying another girl saying he loved her! And what was the real reason - Sanchi badmouthing his family - is it such an evil thing? If this criteria is applied - more than half of India's daughters-in-law end up being divorced/abandoned. Even bribing the pandit for a specific marriage date is morally wrong but not a crime as per law. What Jagya did was wrong - it is just that Sanchi's character is so bad with one and all that people think that Jagya is right this time.

just being sincere and honest is not sufficient u need to convince and handle smartly
the way she handled the issue of canal project by which shiv was impressed
but today her dialogs where not of convincing type instead it was of caring for singh it showed her concerned for singhs and no concerned for saanchi hence Shiv told told "mana ki woh apki sagi nahi par kuch to hai".

Anandi tried to convince Shiv today, she was right that court case will spoil Sanchis future, and questions will be asked by the lawyers will not be easy to digest by any of the family members. Police asked whether Sanchi was pregnent or not but Lawyer will further in detail whether they had sexual relationship and what not. SO I FEEL TODAY ANANDI WAS RIGHT, SHE TRIED TO WARN SHIV THE Consequences OF THE COURT.
