Shahid Kapoor has walked out from Milan Talkies, the Balaji film to be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia

Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ekta Kapoor's film, Milan Talkies' is having trouble in getting the right cast.

The first choice for the film was Priyanka Chopra and Imran Khan. After the debacle of Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara', Imran Khan was out of the project. Priyanka too opted out of the film. Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were then signed for the project.

However after Sharddha opting out of the film, Shahid too has just walked out of the project.

About Shahid's decision to not be a part of the movie, Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, said, "This speculation needs to stop. We will make a formal announcement soon."

Sources say that Shahid was not too happy the way Balaji operates.

I think PC and Imran should return to the project. ekta should make them feel comfortable with it as I also dislike Ekta's promotion strategies for which Imran has opted out the film.

I hope Sunny does not land up here again

This movie is jinxed! Wasn't feeling the Imran/Priyanka pairing so was glad when that fell apart but Shahid and Shraddha sounded interesting. Was hoping Sonam would be roped in for this.

Hopefully someone agrees to act in it. I don't want to see Ekta Kapoor becoming a heroine.

How can they sign a film and then opt out? They must not have officially signed because otherwise, wouldn't they have to pay a fine for not keeping the agreement?
